BLP checking in!

We have been taking the Summer off and refining some things on the back end to help make the growth of BLP the most impactful and sustainable!

Introducing our new Beaufort Litter Patrol Committee!
👋 Grayson, Clara, Jess, Bethany, Ashton, Joshua, Wade, and Christine!

We’re teaming up to root into the BLP missions and grow the impact. You’ll find us rotating as Leads for the community clean-ups and we have some exciting projects we are beginning!

We will be back SOON for our next community clean-up - details will be announced by next week.

In the meantime, we are accepting donations again to help fund our efforts. You can donate through our gofundme linked in bio.

Thank you all for your continued support 🌍

“One thing AI can’t do, is pick up litter.” 😉 -BLPC

Fish aren’t scared of a little rain and neither are we.

Congrats @roguewade on your first redfish and quick upgrade to follow it up.

3 years ago, this month, we had our first community clean up. A friend recently sent me this picture, it was our first ever Beaufort Litter Patrol cleanup.

It’s crazy to think about how much has happened in the last 3 years. How many new volunteers we have welcomed, how much litter has been picked up, how much fun we’ve had along the way, and how many connections we have made.

The past 3 years have brought a lot of opportunities to learn and listen. Leaning on my support system and this incredible place we call home- the trees, the birds singing their morning songs, the Spanish moss and leaves dancing with the wind, the ocean that ebbs and flows with all the cycles…this is what sustains movement and change.

Working full time & building my own business all while also building this beautiful community with Beaufort litter patrol has shown me just how much strength and resilience there is…not only within myself but within this community and the world outside.

As we celebrate 3 years together, know that I am celebrating all of you. I would not be here without you. I am beyond grateful to each and every connection that this organization has brought. Life long friendships, encouragement, and support. I am going to tag some of those connections who have been a support for us below. Please show them some love ❤️

And lastly, to celebrate multiple milestones- please join us next week for our 3 year anniversary clean up.
We will be doing a much needed clean up at our NEWLY ADOPTED portion of the Spanish Moss Trail. We will also be hosting a donation drive for the Jasper Animal Rescue Mission.
Please see pinned post for details.
(BTW- no adoption fees now until the 28th of July!!)

Thank you so much 🙏🙏

We also want to send a belated congratulations to @kevin_843_phillips for being elected mayor of Port Royal!
Kevin has been an avid volunteer and support with our group & mission since the start. Thanks for all that you do to help keep our community litter free!

🎣 Preparation pays off. In the case of fishing, it might take a bit. But it pays off.
