Q : " What are Mechanical Drop-sets ?" 🤔

• This method to approach muscular failure is a blessing for someone who wants to save time and get an efficient training session 💥

• Mechanical Drop Sets in essence, facilitate you to take your target muscle to true failure while getting maximum mechanical tension because you don't have to actually drop the amount of load lifted as and when you fatigue yourself ✅

Stop half-assing your tricep pushdowns 🚫

If you want maximum growth without thrashing your joints, precision is everything.

Here’s how to lock it in , #theRFSway :

Anchor the Scapula : Lock your shoulder blades down. If your shoulders roll forward at the top, you’re shifting tension from your triceps straight into your front delts.

Align the Line of Pull : Step back slightly, so the cable path aligns with your forearms. Pushing strictly downward bleeds tension at the peak contraction.

Drive Through the Palm Heel: Stop flexing or bending your wrists. Push through the base of your palm to keep maximum strain directly on the tricep heads.

Control the Peak Stretch: Don’t let the weight drag your arms up. Resist the eccentric phase to get a deep, active stretch right above 90° before driving back down.

At RFS, we prioritize mechanics over ego loading. Clean up the form and let mechanical leverage do the heavy lifting.

No junk volume needed—just 2 sets ranging from 6–12 repetitions taken to true output and mechanical failure

20 weeks into the @rfsfitness Body Recomposition Program 🎯

• Here are my results :

Week 1 [20th Feb 2026 ] - 59.5 kgs

Weeks 20 [ 2nd August 2026 ] - 63 kgs

• Gained close to 4kgs while being LEANER & STRONGER 💥

• All credit goes to Coach J @coachxj_ who has devoted his invaluable time and energy to formulate a balanced lifestyle for me, while making sure that I hit all my nutrition and weight training requirements effortlessly!

• As a business developer @rfsfitness , I feel more reassured about the service we provide, considering the fact that muscle growth was something I always struggled with 🤷🏻

• The missing piece of the puzzle wasn't a lack of work ethic , but direction and purpose to each and every session of training , as well as the nutritional side of things .

• Just the very beginning, rest assured ♠️

Lululemon has been right about recovery longer than most gym culture wants to admit.

Here’s the science behind why rest days build more muscle than your 6th training session — and the exact split we use with every client.

Stop wearing your ‘no days off’ burnout like a badge of honor. It’s the reason you still look the same as you did last year.

Save this. It’s the permission slip you’ve been waiting for.👇
