It takes a Village—and ours showed up! 💙💛

To our board, sponsors, partners, speakers, host Dawn Harper-Nelson, special guest James Fortune, and every donor, bidder, guest, and helping hand: THANK YOU for making our inaugural gala so special.

Your time, sacrifices, and generosity helped bring founder Melissa Jefferson-Wooden’s vision to life. Together, we’re building a stronger community and brighter opportunities for our youth. This is only the beginning! ✨

Our thoughts exactly! 🤯

Melissa Jefferson-Wooden made history in Budapest, winning both the 100m and 200m at the World Athletics Ultimate Championships, including a 21.47-second 200m, the fourth-fastest time ever!

Sometimes you have to sacrifice a lot to gain a lot….
During her senior year, Melissa’s body was constantly achy from donating stem cell bone marrow to a father that was deathly ill. Her father‘s health was way more important than her future in Sports. BUT Destiny has paid her back three times over in gold.!!!!

We made it! First day of senior year! There is a whole story behind these jeans but we leave @rolan.tw to tell it 😂 but seriously, I am so proud of my mini me! Her determination to see things through shows me she will be successful in life! Lord continue to protect her ❤️ she is planning to do all the senior activities so more to come….

New York, New York! 🗽🍎✨

Thank you @todayshow for having me! Always grateful for the opportunity to share my journey, represent the sport I love, and talk about the Ultimate Championship coming this September.

But first things first—I’m ready and focused to compete this weekend at Icahn. 🔒🏃🏾‍♀️

One Day. One Practice. One Meet at a Time. 🙏🏾

The last of the bunch has graduated from elementary school! On to middle school!
Moving in the middle of elementary school was a big challenge but we settled in and got the job done!
As always thanks to our village! Melissa, Rolan and TeeTee you all have really stepped in and been there for our baby and we will be eternally grateful ❤️
