This one finally out. Typespecimen for @reseda_furniture — A typeface developed for the brand’s evolving visual identity.

Based on Bell Gothic and its logic of clarity at small sizes, Reseda Gothic was designed as a versatile typeface for a wide range of applications — from headlines to long-form texts and short passages.

To ensure performance at small sizes, ink traps were added. Custom Reseda “a” and “e” are used at larger sizes, while conventional shaping appear in body text. The overall weight was increased to strengthen presence, density, and confidence across the identity. The resulting typeface reflects Reseda’s core values: open and welcoming while balancing humanistic and geometric principles.

Reseda Gothic was developed in close collaboration between @role.std — who co-developed the visual identity, @free_bernie — who designed the typeface and @outofthedark.xyz — who mentored and mastered the typeface.

The logo as well the “a” and “e” were originally created 13 years ago by @eneatoldo and @raffinerie_ag

The specimen was developed and designed by @role.std (@ycoco___ @lea.romana ) and was beautifully printed by @dza.druck

Visual identity for the Swiss Grand Award for Design 2026. So many thanks for having us @swissdesignawards!

With Office World, we explored design as a field shaped by both systems and intuition. It exists between objectivity and subjectivity, function and openness, rules and the moments that challenge them. Design is informed by structures and standards, but also by gesture, interpretation and the freedom to question established conventions.

The publications are connected by an “earring”. It holds them together as a family, while allowing each piece to stand on its own. With no fixed order, they can be freely combined, rearranged and read in different constellations.

Warmest congratulations to this year’s laureates Ursula Hiestand, @atelier_oi and @technoflesh on receiving the Swiss Grand Award for Design 2026 — and on their impressive bodies of work.

And thank you to everyone who made this project possible:
