🌅 COOL SUNSET ALERT 🌅

Today’s workout was led by visiting free agent @jesspewgl who has been bouncing around from city to city making friends, enemies, lovers, colleagues, and conspirators wherever she goes. So deeply has Jess ingrained herself into the SLCP way of life that she was able to accurately craft a March Madness style bracket of SLCP-isms for us to choose between. Round 1 featured:

The Chilly Quad Squad vs. Icing @collin.sheppard94

Romantic Candlelit Dinners with @brian.eisner vs. Receiving approximately 1 million Discord notifications per day

Sunrises vs. Cool Sunset Alerts

Funky Spunk Volume 2 vs. Car Cakes

The more exercise rounds you knocked out, the more sway on the decision-making process you had. Jess closed it out with a #glutegainz Jane Fonda jam. We’ll miss you Jess, plz come back! Turns out we love COOL SUNSET ALERTS more than anything. I for one can’t wait to combine all of these SLCP-isms.

Picture this: You wake up for a Proj sunrise and manage to lovingly Ice Collin before 7am. You find yourself occupied on your phone for much of the day responding to a barrage of Discord notifications but that’s ok because you’ve got a romantic candlelit dinner coming up with Brian that night that you’re greatly looking forward to. You two are planning to open a bottle of wine and watch a movie together after dinner: Funky Spunk volume 2. You’ve heard the character development and plot are both far superior in the 2nd volume as compared to the original. You and Brian are then planning to watch the sunset together while eating a car cake that says “BRIAN.” It is the perfect day.

On a more serious note, we know today has not been an easy one for many in our community and beyond. Friendship, love, and community feel more important than ever. We in the SLCP welcome anyone into our ranks regardless of race, class, gender, sexuality, or any other identity. In addition to our sillier qualities, we as a group have always strived to be welcoming, inclusive, kind, and deeply supportive of each other. We’ll continue to fiercely love and support each other no matter what the future may hold. Know that the Proj door is always open to you 🫶

👖🩳 JORTS JORTS JORTS 🩳👖

Today’s workout was dedicated to that most freeing and fashionable of clothing items, the noble JORT. Most people understood the assignment, though there were a few stubborn holdouts. Miss me with that technical wicking polyester blend BS, smh 😒

@brian.eisner WHAT DID JORTS EVER DO TO YOU?! And in a tremendous shock to everyone in attendance, noted naked skiing aficionado and famed callipygous exhibitionist @spaceboomer somehow doesn’t own any jorts?! HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE

The crew did a warm-up jort jogging jaunt before finding a partner and delving into various jortilicious exercises. The initial jorts theme somewhat devolved (/elevated?) into a combined tribute to both jorts and bootys; we had plenty of jort lunges (including a DBZ fusion Vegito tribute side lunge), an elevated feet pike push-up/twerk combo, and a top-of-the-stairs choose-your-own-adventure booty exercise extravaganza. Boy have we got some BADONKS up in the Proj. BIG TWUCKS indeed! 🚛

We closed things out with a power walking + burpees team relay race! Power walking just feels more in the saucy spirit of the jort, y’know? Power walk, 20 burpees, power walk. I actually have no idea which team took the W, but to me everyone who wore jorts was a winner and true hero today 🫡

🏃‍♀️🚨 REMINDER that we have a 6pm collab with @womenofthewasatch tomorrow! Trail run > SLCP workout > beers with the homies! Check for more info later today

Was going to send the winter season off but it’s currently snowing really hard right now in Bozeman. Saying goodbye to winter is like saying goodbye to a good friend.

What a great end of the season nevertheless! ✨

May the snow corn 🌽 harvest be great this Spring!
