Sometimes I think we forget just how magical reading actually is. 🥹📚✨

Someone, somewhere, sits down with nothing but an idea and their imagination… and creates an entire WORLD.

People who never existed suddenly feel real. Places we've never visited somehow feel like home. We laugh, cry, fall in love, get angry, heal, wonder and occasionally become emotionally dependent on fictional faeries. 😂

And when one world ends? There's another one waiting for us. Another author. Another mind. Another imagination inviting us inside.

Now that I'm writing my own book, I think I appreciate this even more. I'm building a world inside my head while simultaneously getting lost in worlds created inside somebody else's.

And then we READ them. Talk about them. Recommend them. Make friendships because of them.
Stories connect people who may never otherwise have found each other.

How bloody magical is that? 🥹🩷📚

And super grateful for my new book friends 😘😘

No reason. No trend. Just a little Bookstagram appreciation post. 🥹💋📚

I've met some bloody lovely humans through this little corner of the internet, and I think sometimes we scroll past people's creativity without actually stopping to tell them:
I LOVE WHAT YOU DO.

Your posts inspire me.
Your theories send me down rabbit holes. 😂
Your recommendations destroy my TBR.
Your humour makes me laugh.
And your love of books makes this community such a fun place to be.

So here's me quite literally blowing you a kiss through the internet and saying thank you for being you. 💋😂

Tagged some of my favourites - go give their pages some love. 🩷📖✨
