⚔️🩶 Stabby Stackurday 🩶⚔️

Firstly I hope everyone is have a glorious weekend? 💖

QOTD: What is your favourite thing to do to relax or chill out? 🧖‍♀️ Swear I’m asking for friend and I’m defo not stressy trying to declutter my home prior to moving house 👀

Okayy so this is a big big moment for Books & Babble because since I started Booksta I have sat and looked everyone’s stunning stabby stacks and never once had the courage to do my own ⚔️ So over the past year I have slowly curated a small amount of stabby books and I’m actually proud of myself for putting this stack together (cause it was one of the Booksta goals) 🙌🏼

Is it perfect? Nah. But it do be pretty and I got to feature my sword bookmark and some butterflies (hydrangeas were purchased also because why not?) 🌸

I wasn’t going to make this a challenge but I’m selfish and wanna see all you talented bookish people make stunning stabby stacks 🗡️ No pressure tho as always 🩷

Books included (from top to bottom) are…

⚔️The Book of Azrael by @amber.v.nicole
⚔️The Traitor Queen by @danielleljensen
⚔️Children of Fallen Gods by @carissabroadbentbooks
⚔️Riftborne by @breegrenwichauthor
⚔️To Flame a Wild Flower by @sarah.a.parker.author
⚔️Half City by @kategoldenauthor
⚔️To Bleed into a Crystal Bloom by @sarah.a.parker.author
⚔️Duskbound by @breegrenwichauthor
⚔️Mother of Death and Dawn by @carissabroadbentbooks

👑📚Thick Thursday ~ 6 over 600📚👑

So @flip_the_page had this fun thing called Thick Thursdays, and it just so very conveniently happened that @vampsreads had also challenged me to do a stack with 6 books over 600 pages long🥰

So here we have a stack with very intimidating and gigantic books. Have I read them all? Well absolutely not😂 I've only read Fire And Blood and Mother Of Death & Dawn, and the rest are on my TBR🤌

I'm gonna go ahead and challenge a couple of you to take part in Thick Thursdays / 6 over 600, no pressure as always❤️

🌼🌷Floral Stack🌷🌼

QOTD: what is your favourite plant or flower? I love a cactus or primrose 🌵

Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday! Me and Belle (and my partner) are just back from a lil beach mini break and we are wrecked 🐾

The absolutely wonderful @ashs_enchanted_reads tagged me in a floral stack challenge (their page is unreal so defo check it out! 🌻)

I actually don’t own many edges that are solely floral themed so we have also included leaves and hints of florals and included some pretty flowers to help out 🩷 Also my hayfever went mental when making this and now feel like a need a pollen detox 🥲

I have tagged some bookish besties to to give this a go and cannot wait to see what you all come up with (no pressure tho) 🌺

Books included are:

🌵Half City
🌸To Bleed a Crystal Bloom
🌷The Traitor Queen
🌿Thorn Season
🌺What Fury Brings
🌼Deaths Daughter
🪷Broken Souls and Bones
🪻Throne of Secrets
🌹The Bridge Kingdom
🍀To Snap a Silver Stem
🌻Bitten

Also yes I committed to the role of a Bookstagrammer and had a bouquet of flowers I ripped apart to make this happen with some fake flowers and some serious editing (some were saved and kept alive though so dw 😂)

Hope everyone has a lovely evening ✨

Red and green has to be one of my favorite color combinations. There’s just something so magical about it, and these editions look absolutely stunning together. 😍✨

Which sprayed edge is your favorite from this stack? ❤️📚

Tagging some of my bookish besties because I want to see your favorite sprayed edges in either your favorite color combo or a red & green stack! 😍❤️💚

Thank you @gorevoorheesreads for the tag, ily gorgeous girl 🖤 if you see this, consider yourself tagged 🖤

I’m 65% in and im obsessed! How do I like the guy we don’t even know!? iykyk😜 and I have SO MANY questions!! I feel as I get closer to the end, I preparing my heart for something painfully horrific to happen 😬🫣

🩷🩵 Pinkish Stack 🩵🩷

On Wednesdays we post Pink (and blue with butterflies and whimsical flowers ✨)

QOTD: if you could live in any Fantasy world, what would it be? 🗺️ For me it would be Prythian or Wonderland (although this changes on a weekly basis 😅)

Happy mid-week booksta - how are we all holding up? 👀 As I live in NI it’s been a bit hectic (I am sure some of you have been the protests and riots) 🥲 I shall be wfh for the foreseeable and will be immersing myself in fantasy worlds because let’s face it although twats exist in those worlds there are still dragons and magic 🙌🏼

Anyways to keep things more cheerful I opted to try make a Pink stack which the absolutely fabulous @mybookishhyperfix challenged me in 🥰 She did pink and green stack so I did pink and blue because I seriously lack green books 😂

I will admit that some serious editing and efforts went into this one because I feel like I’m constantly using blues atm so wanted to do something a bit different and add more snazz to the flowers 🌸🩵

I have tagged some beautiful bookish besties to give this one a go but as always - no pressure 🩷✨

Some of the books included are:

🩷 Throne of Nightmares by @kerrimaniscalco
🩵 The Bridge Kingdom by @danielleljensen
🩷 Starside by @alexaster
🩵 Deaths Daughter by @authorstaceykade
🩷 Fury Bound by @sablesorensen
🩵Quicksilver by @calliehartauthor
🩷 House of Sky and Breath by @sarahjmaas

Have a lovely evening everyone 🌼

P.S. is you swipe to the end you’ll get a smiley chocolate surprise as a mid week happiness boost 🐾

🌧️🩶Rainy Stack 🩶🌧️

QOTD: Where is your fav reading spot? Personally I love reading on the chair beside the window in my living room or my bed 🙌🏼

Happy Thursday booksta! How are we doing? ✨ I feel seasonal depression slowly creeping back in with all this rain… like plz just stop! I swear it was sunny for two minutes (well like 4 days) and now it’s constant rain and wind 🙃

Fun fact: Belle (aka the Merdog) loves all forms of water EXCEPT rain… like she will refuse a walko 🐾 She does have a raincoat… she is not the biggest fan 😂

The lovely @pages.until.midnight tagged me in a rainy book stack challenge and I honestly couldn’t think of a better time to do one ☔️ I have tried to keep it moody and grey with some light blues but also wanted some reflections going on 👀 I can also assure you my phone lens was not damaged my splattering water on it but I will not be trying it again (v stressy 🥲)

I have tagged some bookish besties to give this one a go but obvs no pressure at all 🩶✨

Some of the books included are:

💧Quicksilver by @calliehartauthor
💧 Fury Bound by @sablesorensen
💧 The Last Starborn Seer by @venetiaconstantine
💧The Ashes and the Star Cursed King by @carissabroadbentbooks
💧 When the Moon Hatched by @sarah.a.parker.author
💧 Voidwalker by @authorsamaclean

Hope everyone has a fab evening 🩷 I’ll be enjoying the rain… again 🌧️
