🎶 Huge thank you to @strongroom.studios for having me in their Shoreditch studios last week. I recorded some new tracks with the amazing @jess.camilleri who absolutely blew my mind. I can’t wait to share what we cooked up! 🎸

✨ Yesterday was Fezziwig’s 13th bday! He’s officially an 8th grader!
.
🥹 My favorite photo of 2025 was def Fez helping my sisters and my stepmom put me in my wedding dress.
.
💗 Recently Erik was irritated by a 23-yo couple in one of our reality shows whose parents were heavily involved in their career and financial decisions bc he felt like they should be more independent. I said, Erik, when I was that age, Alison and I had just bought what we would soon learn was a diseased and deformed Scottish terrier and lied to both sets of our parents about it for a month bc we were worried they’d be mad bc we were spending irresponsibly (not NOT true) lol
.
✨ Anyways, best fucking money I ever spent.

🇵🇸

As we are all are witnessing the harrowing genocide and displacement of Palestinians in Gaza, a few beautiful souls on here are doing what bookstagram does best: post stacks of books in order to raise awareness of what is happening and to collect funds to humanitarian organizations providing medical relief in Gaza.

@bibaflorencereads will donate £1 to @thepcrf for every red, black, white and green book stack posted with the hashtag #WCNSFgazabookstack until November 21st. @numberslady_reads and @betweenthelines.a are matching the donation.

@literarylawgirl will donate £5 to UNRWA for every red, black, white and green book stack posted with the hashtag #bookstackforthechildrenofgaza until November 23rd. @inkdrinkerreads is matching the donation.

I urge all of you on bookstagram (and the rest) to continue educating yourself, read up on history, read and amplify Palestinian authors, talk with your friends and family, go out into the streets to protest, contact your reps. Raise your voices! Use your platform in any way you can. Drown out the silence, the ignorance, and the regular content coming out of bookstagram. Ignore those people saying that a post or a story can not make a difference. They clearly haven't paid attention (and I'm gonna write a separate post explaining why).

Together, we will do everything we can to push for a ceasefire and the end of the occupation of Palestine.

Anyone coming into my comment section or DM asking "what about Hamas?" or "what about the hostages?" - leave your ignorance somewhere else. All the information is out there, even here on bookstagram.

Wholesome Girl Summer | My sisters and I did a 24 hour reading challenge. Low stakes read-a-thon which confirmed I’m a turtle-paced reader, but there’s nothing I enjoy more. 435 pages read during 15 hours of active reading. Who is joining next time?
