Color of the Day is Blue, the colour of depth, serenity and infinity, reminds us of the vastness of the universe and the calm strength that lies within each of us

Today Nivi @six_yards_wonders , @roopaligoradia , @priya.kadapa.shah , @simigracemehta & I met for Haldi kumkum at @soumya2022 's home to see her Golu .
Soumya's golu is truly magnificient. Do check my stories to catch a glimpse of her golu.

Had a fabulous time with all my friends. Soumya had cooked an amazing lunch for us & after golu darshan , haldikumkum & photo clicking , we enjoyed the lunch served so lovingly by her.

Colour of the Day being blue, all of us draped blue color sarees.

Priya draped a malli moggu kanchi , Simi was in silk cotton Maheshwari , Roopali wore a revival Vinay Narkar saree , Soumya was in a kanchi with chariot in pallu.
For #9colorsofNavratriwithRohni , Nivi today is in a royal blue Nabakothi & I wore a dark blue with red border double ikat 8 motif saree woven by Master weaver Srinivas from @varashree
Nivi & i in our ikat sarees is also for #ikatishqwednesdays by @shruti_ikatishqwednesdays

Yesterday was Roopali Day @ropaligoradia 😍😍😍
Had a fabulous time with her & our beautiful Divas over lunch . The venue was truly picturesque with loads of natural light .
Draped this gorgeous Chanderi , curated by the bday girl @roopaligoradia .
This peach tissue sona roopa pattu silk is truly a delight to drape . Loved the gold & silver borders & the green & orange floral motifs adorning the body . Thanx so much Roops for this curation ,absolutely loved the saree.
Paired with a dark green benarasi brocade blouse stitched by Sanjay Master @jaiambetailor & green beads jewellery .

A special saree for a special occasion! When it’s the Chanderi queen’s birthday, I had to drape this exquisite silk Chanderi sourced by her ! Thank you @roopaligoradia for this gorgeous beauty! I fell for the colour and the motifs at first sight . A mix and match brocade blouse and set for an afternoon of bonhomie and laughter 💚♥️

✨ Happy Janmashtami! ✨

On this beautiful day celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna, I couldn’t resist bringing out a Kanjivaram that seems to have a little magic of its own.

Is it gold? Is it ivory? Depends on the light!

This beauty shifts with every change in light—sometimes more golden, sometimes a soft shimmery ivory, with a rich bronze gold border, a slender green selvedge, and delicate leaf motifs adding just the right amount of detail. 🌿 @azhagibyaarthi

And full disclosure—today’s #FridayKanchi was completely inspired by @roopaligoradia . I saw her post yesterday in a saree that looked a little golden, a little silver and a little copper, and it immediately reminded me of this Kanjivaram sitting in my own closet. Of course, that meant it had to come out today! 😄

The little details make it even more special—a slim green selvedge, delicate leaf motifs, and that beautiful bronze framing the saree.

I picked up the green with a green brocade blouse, because sometimes the tiniest color in a saree deserves its own moment. 💚

Gold in one light.
Ivory in another.
A little bronze glow.
And a flash of green at the edge.

One saree, many moods—and exactly the kind of Kanchi magic I never tire of.

A mangolicious meal it was! We had an Aam 🥭 party today .. a mango potluck at the beautiful Nivedita’s beautiful abode .. thank you Nivi so much , you are such a perfect host ♥️.. starting from aam panna to aamras, mango rice , and mango salads, mango pickles , mango curries and summer veggies and even ukdiche modak to mark Angarika today, and ending with chai and some dhamal masti and music .. and dear Nivi even did our haldi kunku and pampered us with gifts ! So much fun this was and so very amazing to taste so many different mango dishes from the length and breadth of our county ! We can’t wait for the next potluck with another seasonal theme now ♥️ here’s to foodies and here’s to friendships ♥️

Had a scrumptious Sadya today with my dear friends on this auspicious day. It was a meal served on elai ( banana leaf ) & each & every dish was delicious especially in the company of these beautiful ladies. Truly soul satisfying .
