Are you following the Trail House Project?

Three young trail and ultra runners, coached by Matt Daniels, training to be part of the next generation of elite trail runners.

Of the cast of characters, Bayden is the mountain running purist. He’s humble and hungry. A young Anton finding his own path, one that naturally tends toward high places. He lives with Ares Reading and Dylan Flewelling in this home just off the trails outside of Boulder, Colorado.

Are you watching? What are your thoughts about how they’re doing and the future of this project?

Listen to my conversation with Bayden on the Trail Love podcast. Find and follow Trail Love wherever you listen to podcasts, or look for the link in the bio.

An epic year for mountaineering! Two bucket list summits knocked out.

So blessed to climb Mt. Rainier with @whatkatiedid16 for my birthday in May. After staring at that mountain every day it’s the best feeling to finally have been to the top.

And this weekend I made it to the summit of the Grand Teton. We had a tight weather window so we flew to the top. High stress but incredible climbing definitely had me puckered! The views from both these mountains can’t be described.

So grateful to be able to share experiences like these with the love of my life and an incredible group of friends who are absolute crushers.

Life’s good. Do hard things

What a beautiful morning to #optoutdoors and go for a #trailrun minus the steep climb it was so enjoyable. The feeling I get running in the mountains is so freeing. I feel free of stress, commitment, worry and instead it’s just the trees and me.

Thanks @roosmith6 and your wife for giving me a reason to drive to Boulder today 😊
