Your friends can be ☀️🔥🌈🦋🦄👑🍄😳😂💪💋🌊🌧️💨
mirrors,
teachers,
or distractions !!!!!!!

Choose wisely. 🌿

A little food for thought from the Costa Rican jungle and a deck of cards that sparked a beautiful conversation.

May you never dim your light to make others comfortable. 🕯️✨
Shine fully, share freely, and trust that your light is enough.☀️

Proof that props aren’t scary… unless you’re using them to become a yoga ghost. 👻

Props can provide support, comfort, stability, and relaxation throughout your practice. They help meet your body where it is today, allowing you to explore poses in a way that feels sustainable and supportive.

In Yin Yoga especially, props can help us settle in, soften unnecessary effort, and stay comfortable long enough to receive the benefits of the pose.

At Serenity, props are always optional, but they’re never discouraged. Use a block. Build a bolster fort. Wrap yourself in blankets. Become one with the ghostly realm.

Whatever helps you feel at home in your practice. 💜

Who were you 10 years ago?

What were you absolutely certain you would never do?

Never become?

Never overcome?

I'll go first! I NEVER thought that I would be able to stop drinking alcohol 🤯 and it was the easiest and best thing that I have ever done in my entire life! Took long enough... 🤦‍♀️

Andrew bought the kids a portable DVD player yesterday and we only had our wedding dvd from 2017 😆. We hadn't watched it in years! So interesting to watch...

I'm not even a little bit similar to that person from back then. 🤔

Look at me now 💫🧠 💪 🧘‍♀️ Never say never unless you are saying... I'll never give up.

Learn from your experiences, even the ones that didn't work out for you.

I'll never stop dreaming. 🌟

Come see me at @serenityogastudio next Tuesday at 930am to dive deeper into this topic! 💙💚

Settle in Yin… stay awhile… 🩷

Some of the most meaningful moments in practice happen when we stop trying to get somewhere.

When we give ourselves permission to pause.
To soften.
To listen.

Join Courtney on Tuesday, June 16 at 9:30 AM for a nourishing Yin practice where stillness becomes the teacher and support is always within reach.

Come as you are. We’ll be here awhile.

Some thoughts can only be heard in stillness.

The answers aren't always found. Sometimes they're remembered.

Slow down long enough to hear yourself.

When was the last time you did absolutely nothing?

POV: Your friend never asks questions, she just says
YES 😂☀️

One song.
Two poses.
A few turnarounds
A whole lot of laughter
and sunshine

This is your reminder that movement gets even better when you don’t take yourself too seriously. 💚

🌺Grateful for the kind of friendships that stay through the highs and the hard moments. 🌺
The ones where you can fully be yourself
messy, growing, evolving
and still be met with grace,
laughter, acceptance,
and support. 🦋

That kind of connection is healing. 💚

Savasana isn’t something we rush out of.

It’s something we return from.

Breath deepens
fingers and toes begin to stir
small movements ripple outward
before the bigger ones arrive

so the body has time to follow
so the mind doesn’t snap back
so you carry a little of that stillness with you

All I can hear Lady Gaga say is.. What's yoga romance? 🤣🤪

Yoga romance to me is having a bestie who calls you for impromptu yoga dates in a corn field 🌽 🤸‍♀️

Life is a game! Don't forget to play it! 😁
