The best asset anyone can possess is having self confidence.
Self confidence was not born. It was acquired through time. It was years of hard work, being knocked down, being able to get back up. It is never giving up on what you truly believed in. It is facing humiliation but not let it consum you. It is knowing when to say sorry and mean it. It is admitting all human are flawed including ourselves. It is the final push to pick yourself up, times and times again.

Coriander, Basil and Mint.
All three of them have a few wonderful characteristics in common - Vitamins rich, cholesterol lowering, fight infections, tastes boosting in salad and meat, delicious on its own, even beter when mixed.
At the moment, we can still get them at a reasonable price.

🐝👑@manahattauk Bottomless Beyonce Brunch Invite 👑🐝

Calling all bottomless brunch fans and the beehive!
I recently attended a great evening of fast drink refills, scrumptious food and big entertainment at the manahatta Beyonce bottomless brunch with @littleowl_ and @healthy_is_wealthy.oi

I had the Steak Frites—a juicy 8oz rump steak served pink with fried onions, garlic mushrooms, and crispy onion rings. The melted Monterey Jack cheese took it to the next level, while the peppercorn sauce added a creamy tang. Served on a bed of house fries and sweet potato fries, it was delicious and kept me energised throughout the night.

@littleowl_ went for one of their favs, Karaange Chicken Ramen. They also have a vegan option for this dish

But the feast didn't stop there! The fast refills on drinks kept the party going, ensuring our glasses were always filled with refreshing cocktails and bubbly Prosecco. The attentive staff made sure we never went thirsty.

The drag act was 🔥! The performers brought infectious energy, dazzling costumes, and show-stopping talent. They had the entire crowd cheering and clapping along, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.

Overall, the Beyonce Bottomless Brunch was a celebration of great food, unlimited drinks, and unforgettable performances. It's a must-attend event for brunch enthusiasts and fans of our Queen Bey. Don't miss out on this stellar experience! 💃🏽🍹

What a great night!!! @proovepizza really out did themselves on every level on the Proove Ambassador Event.
The pizzas were amazing, the hosts were so informative and friendly plus all enjoyed in the good company of @sheffield_foodie_socials

On the menu for the night:

🥗Rucalo - Fresh rocket with shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano, finished with extra virgin olive oil & balsamic vinegar... This salad was just the right start to the meal and already with the taste and combination of ingredients they had set the standards quite high for the rest of the evening.

🍕🍆 ORTALANA - San Marzano D.O.P. tomatoes, fior di latte mozzarella,
auberginr, courgette and peppers.
The tomato sauce was just giving such an intense tomatoey flavour, but still very balanced and was never lost amongst the quality ingredients on top of it... such as the aubergine and courgette and peppers.

🍕🌿PESTO ROYALE - Homemade walnut pesto base, mozzarella, chillies, red onions, artichoke, portobello mushrooms roasted in truffle oil & extra virgin olive oil.
Absolutely just drowning in great flavour and good times at this point😂
Chefs kiss as the heat from the chilli mixed with the creaminess of the cheese and aroma from the pesto almost had me exclusively asking to have this throughout the evening.

🍕🍖SAN DANIELE - Prosciutto di San Daniele, rocket, shavings of
Parmigiano Reggiano & extra virgin olive oil.
I really love the thinly sliced prosciutto and cheese!
The crust was a perfect balance of crunchy and chewy, providing a satisfying bite. The contrast between the warm and crispy base and the cool, fresh toppings is a match made in pizza heaven.

🍕🔥VESUVIO - Arrabbiata sauce, provola, spianata piccante, nduja & fresh chilli.
I was so glad this was the last pizza. When I thought I couldn't eat anymore, our amazing hosts come out with a piping pizza with red hot salami on top with delicious crispy looking edges🥵 I decided to have one bite and ended up eating half the pizza!

🍰 DESSERT - I had the pleasure of tasting three delightful desserts, and one stole the show... the vegan Biscoff cheesecake! 🏆 Creamy and irresistible!

INVITE// Spent a fab evening at one of my favourite pizza spots in Sheffield @proovepizza with the @sheffield_foodie_socials gang earlier this week.

We were treated to some of their amazing new menu items, along with some of their classics. What I had:

🥗 Giardino salad and olives for starters. The vegan version of this salad comes with a lovely balsamic dressing.

🍕 Ortalana, Pesto Royale and San Daniele (vegan versions of all). These were honestly all incredible and I can’t even pick a favourite! The vegan cheese they use is spot on, it doesn’t have that typical stick to your teeth texture that some vegan cheeses have.

🍰 Biscoff cheesecake (that just happens to be vegan woohoooo!). This was the best vegan cheesecake I think I’ve ever had! It was light, fluffy and absolutely divine. If I wasn’t full to the brim of pizza I could have ate 2 of these 😍😍

🍷 some lovely wines. I can’t remember the names of them all but the red Merlot was my fave.

We were kindly hosted by the lovely Deepak, Sally and team who are all super passionate about using high quality, Italian ingredients and it really shows in the food.

It’s also lovely to see so much effort put into creating delicious veggie/vegan/gluten free options so everyone can enjoy a fab evening here ❤️💚🤍

INVITE // An evening of pizza and wine… there’s not many things in life that are better than this, am I right?! 🍕🍷

Such a lovely evening with some of the @sheffield_foodie_socials gang up at @proovepizza in Broomhill. Their authentic Neapolitan pizza is above and beyond good and amongst the very best in Sheffield! You guys know this already though, right?!
.
Their menu remains spectacular catering for all diets and not only is their pizza dough cooked to perfection, their ingredients are specially picked to provide the very best authentic Italian flavours.
.
Here’s what I had:
.
🍷 Intrigo Sauvignon Blanc & Barbera Cornale…. I’m usually a red wine drinker but the Sauvignon knocked me sideways, it was absolutely lovely!
.
🍕 Pizzas were the Ortolana, Pesto Royale, San Daniele, Vesuvio. All were so delicious it was actually torture trying to save enough room to try them all! Special shout-out to the Vesuvio here… a sh*t hot arrabbiata sauce base topped with flavourful provola, spianata piccante, nduja & fresh chilli. So good I asked to take some home ☺️

🥗 Giardino salad with Proove's secret recipe dressing and a selection of Italian olives
.
🍨 Desserts were a selection of homemade Chocolate Brownies with gelato, A Proove Classic Tiramisu and a DIVINE Vegan Biscoff Cheesecake. This cheesecake is unlike any you’ve tried before (trust me, I know!) and is handmade in the restaurant. It’s light, it’s heavenly and the perfect way to end your meal!
