Today was all about little ones having BIG fun!

I had a ball hosting the Rootle table at Charlotte Kids Fest and connecting with so many amazing Mecklenburg County families!

What a GREAT way to prepare for back to school! 📚✏️

Today, I had the pleasure of joining the Sugar Creek Library’s Great Summer Send Off Resource Fair and connecting with families in the community! I’m so grateful to @cmlibrary for the invitation and for creating spaces where families can discover resources, learn, connect, and have fun.

Thank you for allowing Rootle to be part of the celebration! 💙🧡 #PBSNC #PBSKIDS #RootleNC #Mecklenburg

Pavilion Plays had the privilege of joining PBS Rootle @rootlenc on their Roadster tour in Barco, NC today! The community showed up and showed out! We had so much fun creating together. We played countless rounds of improv games and never once did we have a repeat outcome. Thank you @currituckclubcommunity for the beautiful facility. The future is bright with these children making their way! #kidstheater #creativekids #currituck

WHAM! You hear that? That’s the sound of the newspaper hitting your front door. Except it’s digital now and there’s no sound, so we just pretend. Check out my newest blog post about four events I’ve attended in the last couple of months including:

🚂 Old Fort Trains and Trails Festival (@oldfortfest)
🐄 Big Barn Bash at Hickory Nut Gap Farm (@hickorynutgap and @appalachianmakerscollective)
📕 Rootle Roadster Tour with PBS Kids and the Swannanoa Resilience Hub (@rootlenc @thehub_swannanoa @swannanoamarket)
🌳 Groovin’ on Grovemont in Swannanoa (@friendsofgrovemontpark)

I originally thought I could talk about everything I’ve done so far this summer in one blog post and yeah no it’ll take many more posts than that to do it justice. So make sure to subscribe! 😉

A heartfelt thank you to PBS Kids Rootle for choosing Swannanoa.

In a community that is still rebuilding, the joy, laughter, and excitement you brought to our children and families meant more than words can express.

Watching kids learn, explore, create, and simply be kids was a gift.

We are grateful you spent the day with us and hope you’ll visit Swannanoa again soon. ❤️

We had the absolute best time tabling at the Rootle Roadster tour event! 🚙✨

It was so wonderful connecting with our local families, sharing more about our early childhood services, and handing out resources to our Asheville community. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to say hello and learn more about how we support children of all abilities!
