Where to begin with our last show of 2025? Three years in the making, this evening stunned us and melted our hearts completely. So many of you came to share in moments that were full of tender, soulful joy. How would you describe it? For us, this cherished memory is something we’ll keep with us for a long time.  We would like to thank every artist @almostkarmabutnotquite @trio.topanga @beverlyglenncopeland @elspeth_glenn, as well as our partners @venusfestival, and @burndownthecapital for making it all happen. And a special thank you to @lmbloor for their generous sponsorship.  Happy holidays everyone! We wish you happy, relaxing, and full-spirited holidays ahead, and we’ll see each other in the New Year for the rest of our 2025-26 programming ❄️

Kamra (@almostkarmabutnotquite) is a recording artist and cultural worker of Igbo Nigerian descent based in Yellowknife, NT. Their audio recordings are made up of electroacoustic material across an ongoing mapping of spatial whimsy and transnatural bonds between cosmology, culture, and craft. Kamra’s durational works are audible and vibrational systems used to transport, not from here to there but through a spectrum of both shared and coveted dialects. Kamra makes music that rearranges the energy of space such that the colonial underpinnings of this reality become compost. Their projects: Activation Residency and Forest Fringe Farm, transform community and land into living frameworks for creative practice. The band: Andrew Noseworthy- guitar @anmusiccomposer Emree Wilson- drums @_ewmusic_ Isa Farah- cello @cello.kabob Mira Riselli - bass @riselli.m

This Saturday, join Wavelength for our final show of the year! 🌙🌊 🌙🌊 From the musicians behind JUNO-nominated band The Wooden Sky and Canada’s Greatest party band Dwayne Gretzky, comes Toronto’s own MOONRiiVR. Gavin Gardiner and “Champagne” James Robertson craft a sonic world that reflects every moment in time. With analog tape, slide guitars, wonky string synths, and nimble percussion, the term “Buddy Holly meets Krautrock” strangely comes to mind. These Toronto music scene staples will be joined on the bill by genre-blurring Canadian singer-songwriter Sam Tudor. Both an individual and a project, Sam Tudor offers acoustic guitars colliding with Eno-inspired beats, distorted synths and jazz sensibilities. Similarly ambient and exploratory as heard on their fantastic 2024 album Shift Circuit, Kamra opens the evening with gossamer-like vocals to make each listener’s spirit turn crimson. 📻🥀🐞🪕 Saturday November 29, 2025 Wavelength @ St. Anne’s 651 Dufferin Street Doors 7pm Single tix $25.60 ($20 adv plus taxes & fees) at DICE.FM Ticket link: bit.ly/MoonriivrWL ALL AGES / Licensed 🖌️Poster by Adam Waito
