FROM DATA TO ACTION: Advancing Nurse Wellness Across Connecticut! CT Nurse Wellness Project is excited to take the stage at the Central Connecticut Oncology Nursing Society Annual Symposium on Saturday, October 24, 2026! Join @drwendygarvinmayo, @lovelikehalyn, and @roseannsillasen as they present: “From Data to Action: Connecticut’s State of Nurse Wellness Survey & Action Framework.” Earlier this year, the CT Nurse Wellness Project heard from 438 nurses and nursing students across Connecticut, providing valuable insights into their experiences, challenges, and wellness needs. Now, they’re turning those insights into ACTION! During this presentation, they’ll share key findings from our statewide survey and introduce our six-initiative Statewide Action Framework, designed to empower nurses, strengthen connections, expand access to wellness resources, and support sustainable well-being. Their message is simple: Nurse wellness requires visibility, intentional action, and sustainability. 📅 Saturday, October 24, 2026 📍 DoubleTree Hotel | Bristol, Connecticut Together, they are moving beyond awareness and equipping nurses with the tools, resources, and connections to take ownership of their well-being. Because when nurses are well, they can be their best, do their best, and give their best. Collaboratively they are Making Wellness the Standard of Care® for CT nurse colleagues! #CTNurseWellnessProject #FromDataToAction #NurseWellness #OncologyNursing ONS NurseMentalHealth NurseWellbeing ConnecticutNurses MakingWellnessTheStandardOfCare

From Concern to Care: The CT Nurse Wellness Project in Action! This is what meaningful impact looks like! Recently, a Connecticut nurse reached out to our CT Nurse Wellness Community Council seeking support. Through our community-driven approach, she received: ❤️ A Safe Space – To feel heard, seen, and valued. ❤️ Assessment of Needs – Understanding her concerns and identifying priorities. ❤️ Mentorship & Resources – Guidance, encouragement, and practical support. ❤️ Connection to Care – Through our CT Nurse-Friendly Practice™ mental health partners, an appointment was scheduled in less than 24 hours! This is the power of collaboration, community, and action. We’re not just talking about nurse wellness. We’re building pathways to support it. Because wellness is a systems issue, not simply an individual responsibility. Nurses Supporting Nurses. Sometimes, it begins with a microdose of wellness and a willingness to connect. This is what Making Wellness the Standard of Care® looks like—bringing practical tools directly into the spaces where we llearn, work, and lead. 📍 Southern Connecticut State University 📅 Tuesday, October 6 ⏰ 11:00 AM–12:00 PM We are proud to see Rosale continuing to expand this work and help build a culture of Capacity.
