🚨 54% TYPE 2 DIABETES REMISSION AT ONE YEAR! 🚨

This is the kind of healthcare story that deserves to be celebrated and shared.

I’m incredibly proud to call the team at Toward Health friends and to watch them continue to challenge what we’ve come to accept as “inevitable” when it comes to metabolic disease.

Those aren't just numbers on a poster.

They represent people improving their health, reducing their dependence on medication, and potentially changing the trajectory of their lives. They also demonstrate what can happen when employers invest in metabolic health rather than simply managing chronic disease year after year.

Toward Health combines individualized low-carbohydrate nutrition, continuous glucose monitoring and ongoing clinical support bringing lifestyle intervention together with modern medicine and real-time feedback.

Lifestyle matters.
Nutrition matters.
Metabolic health matters.
And remission is possible for some people.

Congratulations to Dr. Tro Kalayjian and the entire Toward Health team - physicians, coaches, researchers, staff and, most importantly, the patients who put in the work every single day.

So proud to call you friends. Keep challenging the status quo. Keep collecting the data. And keep changing lives. 👏🔥❤️

This is what moving TOWARD HEALTH looks like.

❤️ A healthier future starts with people willing to challenge the status quo.

We are encouraged to see organizations like the Coalition for Metabolic Health leading the charge to make metabolic health a priority in medicine, research, and public policy. Their mission is simple but powerful: help prevent and treat chronic disease by focusing on nutrition, lifestyle, and the root causes of metabolic dysfunction, not just managing symptoms.

What's even more inspiring is that there are already dedicated healthcare professionals making this vision a reality every single day.

Our friend, Dr. Tro Kalayjian is one of them. After transforming his own health, Dr. Tro Kalayjian turned that experience into a mission to help others, building the Toward Health clinic in New York into a nationwide team of healthcare professionals supported by an incredible community dedicated to improving metabolic health through evidence-based nutrition, lifestyle medicine, education, and ongoing support.

This is how real change happens, not through one person or one organization, but through thousands of people asking better questions, sharing better science, and empowering others to take control of their health.

Your future isn't determined by your past. Every healthy meal, every walk, every workout, every night of quality sleep, and every decision to choose real, whole foods over sugar and ultra-processed foods is an investment in a longer, healthier life.

Let's continue leading by example and inspiring others to discover what's possible. 💙

While on vacation, I made some amazing treats using @rosettesmix mixes, and they were SO good! 🤩

We made:
🍕 Pepperoni & olive pizza
🍪 Chocolate chip cookies
🍪 No-sugar cookies
🤎 Brownies

Everything was easy to make, keto-friendly, and absolutely delicious. It’s always fun finding products that make sticking to a low-carb lifestyle a little easier—without sacrificing flavor!

Even better, Rosette’s will be joining us as a vendor at Low Carb for Better Health this September! If you’ve been wanting to try their products, this will be a great chance to stop by their booth, ask questions, and stock up on your favorites.

Have you ever tried Rosette’s? If so, what’s your favorite mix? ⬇️

The Sweet Paradox - Reimagined 🍰💔➡️💪

There’s something deeply human about sharing sweets. From wedding cakes to St. Joseph’s Day zeppole, these traditions connect us to family, culture, and celebration.

But today, sugar isn’t rare anymore… it’s everywhere.

The Shift 📉

What was once an occasional indulgence has become a daily habit - and it’s showing up as rising insulin resistance, Type 2 diabetes, and declining metabolic health.

So what’s the answer… give it all up?

Maybe… but for some of us, it might mean something different.

A Better Way ⚖️

What if we kept the tradition but upgraded the ingredients?

That’s where more blood sugar–friendly alternatives come in.
You can still enjoy the experience, the flavor, and the connection--without the metabolic rollercoaster.

For example, using something like Rosette's Mix allows you to recreate classic treats in a way that’s lower impact on blood sugar, while still honoring the moment.

And for some people, even that may not be the best choice…

Know Yourself 🙏

Some of us know that one bite of the traditional (or even the “healthier”) version can flip a switch leading to cravings and overeating.

There’s nothing wrong with choosing to opt out entirely.

That’s not restriction… that’s awareness. That’s strength.

Keep the Tradition, Change the Outcome 🙌

Celebrate. Share. Be present.
Whether you enjoy a better-for-you version, or skip it altogether, the goal is the same:

Protect your health so you can keep showing up for the moments that matter most.

Because it’s not about the food… it’s about the life you’re building.

What an incredible day at Dr. Tro’s grand opening in the new building and meatup. There really are no words big enough to capture the gratitude I feel for caring medical professionals who dedicate their lives to advancing metabolic health.

The new facility is beautiful, the equipment is state-of-the-art, but what shines above all is the heart of the team. Their compassion and dedication ripple out beyond the walls of this building-making an impact not only locally, but across the nation. 🌍

It was so special to see friends, share stories, and feel the energy of a community moving forward together. Afterwards, we gathered around one long table at a Brazilian restaurant-good food, good conversation, and smiles all around. 🥩✨

There were just to many folks to "tag" in this, but let it be known everyone is amazing!

Moments like these remind me: health is about more than numbers-it’s about people, connection, and hope. ❤️
