And just like that, the pop up is over ✨

Feeling very much full of love after a wonderful 5 days playing shopkeeper on Church Street. Thank you so much to those who stopped by - and especially to those who made purchases! I’m so pleased the first collection resonated.

The main event was, of course, gathering with friends and family. The opening night set us on the best possible track, and it was incredible to be surrounded by so many wonderful, talented, generous people. Thank you all.

The show-stopping flowers by my sister @miliwardbeazley - @good.garden.club - really made an entrance, with the most heavenly bites by my best friend / person @posiehallfood, of course.

It was a total pleasure to scent the space with @nosegayengland, and be lit by @hum.london. All while in the best pants in the biz @drayton.clothing.

Remaining pieces (and curiously some of my favourites!) are still available to purchase from my website, the link for which is in my bio.

Thank you again! Until next time. 🤍

Yesterday was my official last day at @houseandgardenuk after a whopper of 7 years, which included one marriage, two babies, many shoots and innumerable utterly brilliant and bonkers times. It was a total unicorn of a job, perfect in every single way and filled with the absolute best people and I am so incredibly grateful to @hattabyng, @emilyseni0r and of course @ginnyemily for taking a chance on me all that time ago.

As for what’s next, I’m joining the team at @irbyrubinstein at the end of the month to give the other side of the business a whirl, alongside bothering editors with freelance writing pitches of course.

Thank you thank you to my wonderful publisher @triglyphbooks and the wonderful Zetter Bloomsbury @thezetterhotels for holding the loveliest lunch for my book on Roger Fry in the Zetter Bloomsbury orangery - moments from where Roger and the Bloomsbury group lived and worked, a 100 or so years ago. It was so special to be able to spend time with some of those who were so kind and generous in their Roger-related introductions and encouragement - and I loved it so much that I failed to take a single photograph - so phew for these by @dylan_location, the one on the steps taken at the very end, after everyone else had left…. (I was so determined to do better at photos, and yet… but, more coming soon on the hotel’s wondrousness… ) @purplepr @nanchego

That’s officially a wrap on eight years at House & Garden - the best of times with the best of teams! I’ve been so lucky to have these guys as brilliant colleagues and really wonderful friends. There have been lots of spectacular highlights, mega trips and amazing shoots over my time at the magazine, but it’s the day to day hanging out with this lot that’s been the real joy. Thanks for giving me a following wind as I sail off into the freelance life 💨🫡
