I'm not someone who sketches every day or even every week. this banana plant was a spontaneous exercise I did during a workshop I was leading.

The idea? To show how we can tap into what’s around us, everyday objects, fleeting ideas, even a simple plant and turn them into visual stories on the spot.

You don’t need fancy tools or perfect conditions to create. Just start with what you have. And create what you want to communicate

Day 3 & 4 : Using words and using visual stories to communicate

Are you a morning person or a night person?

Most butterflies are morning people. They are active during the day, they shut shop when the sun goes to sleep. They are Diurnal beings.

A few of them are active during early mornings and/or late evenings when there is still some light around. They can be called Crepuscular then.

It is rare to find a butterfly going around its business after sundown and into the night. But Moths do. They work nights. They are described as Nocturnal, therefore. What kind of person are you

Starting today, for the rest of the month of May, let's learn, relearn and unlearn words, phrases and idioms to describe the nature around us.

🍃This Tamarind Tree was both Majestic and Lofty!
🍃The Lofty Tamarind Tree by the Kundanoor Bridge was a Majestic sight ..

DM the words you want us to reveal and play with in the posts/reels. Welcome to Nature Talks aka #ToCNature

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay.
