A big thank you to the brilliant Lucy a local upholsterer of Rounded By @roundedby. Who creates classic, tasteful and modern furniture locally here in Lewes. As we are truly grateful and humbled as she popped in on Monday and kindly offered to replace the leather padding on one of the throwing wheel seats. That had been severely worn down over years of use, we are impressed by the amount of use the seat had gotten ver the years but it was definitely time for a change. We’re thrilled with the results and if you’re ever interested in local one or two day upholstery courses in both Lewes, we couldn’t recommend Lucy higher! #throwingstool #upholstery #lewesupholstery #newstool #upholstryofinstagram

I'm still revelling in the fact that I upholstered this bench as a total novice last week at West Dean College over 2 days, under the guidance of our tutor Lucy Thomas. Lucy is an amazing teacher, and she makes sure that everyone understands every step and is absolutely marvellous at guiding the class as we progress at different speeds. Thank you so much.

Really happy with the two seater stool I upholstered on a West Dean short course with @roundedby. Learnt a lot in a couple of days including a newly earned respect for the craft.
