Incredible scenes earlier this year when we took a bunch guys along to our first @project_fellas …

BLUFF KNOLL MENS WEEKEND RETREAT 🌄

We stayed near by in a private location, ate together, had honest conversations about where we were at in our lives, laughed, and then got up early in the dark, hiked bluff knoll for one of the most stunning sunrise summits to date.

We found stillness and movement all along the away that cut away the noise of our everyday lives and allowed the suffocated parts of us to emerge.

We don’t need more self help, advice or information - often it’s just a distraction from what’s actually going on in our lives.

Removing ourselves from our everyday environment, with a curated and intentional experience allows us to connect to the parts of ourselves that need the air time, to connect with other men, see the humanity in one another and to simply just get out into nature and breathe in the fresh air.

These simple but quietly profound spaces is what we need more of.

Huge shout out to @moving.mental.mountains for their support on this trip, and their continued support with men’s health here in W.A.

If you are craving an experience like this, join us this the September for our flagship retreat, UNPLUGGED.

As the name suggests it’s a weekend of unplugging from the noise, so we can connect to the more real and honest parts of ourselves.

A little bit of this and a little bit of that post egg retrieval.

Let my hair down, nearly broke my neck, forgot a few of my boundaries, got wildly overwhelmed and responded in the only logical way possible by booking more holidays. New Zealand, I’m coming for you ✈️

This gal is approximately one minor inconvenience away from a full blown menty b, yet somehow it’s already time to rein it all back in and do another retrieval.

Anyway ✌️ see you on the other side

Phew… what an incredible weekend, fellas 🙌🏽

This was our first Bluff Knoll hike, down in the beautiful Stirling Ranges.

There’s something unique that happens when a group of men get up early, step into the dark, take on a physical challenge together, and move toward a shared goal - in this case, reaching the summit for sunrise.

Simple in theory. Profound in practice.

With the right intention, and just a little distance from the noise of everyday life, it doesn’t take long before walls come down, conversations deepen, and insights begin to emerge.

A mountain has a way of stripping things back.

This weekend was an absolute pleasure to be a part of, and it definitely won’t be the last.

More to come. 🏔️
