DISCO DISPOSITION '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' Disco Disposition was born in summer 2024 from the minds of DJs Mark Thompson, Rubeans and Filey Selassie. They wanted to put on a night honouring the discotheques of the 1970s and 80s. To create an evening where people of all ages and backgrounds can come, feel accepted, look beautiful and share the experience of dancing to fantastic music together. The DJs play a lot of classic funk, soul and ‘traditional disco’ but also venture into the housier side and try not to hem themselves in too much at all. Look at Larry Levan’s mixes: there was always a curveball at the Garage or Studio 54. If it kept people moving, it was a winner! They've put on a handful of dances since their first outing and there is always a delicious crowd who never fail to bring the moves. --------------- Disco Disposition are part of @coastalgathering Catch them at our PRE PARTY next weekend - Sat 22 August - at @caskandkegscarborough 11pm to 12am. They also play Coastal Gathering at the Railwayman's Social Club - 7pm to 12am - on Fri 18 September. 🕺🏼💃🏼🍺🎶🔊 ---------------
