Rowing has a remarkable way of revealing what great teamwork truly looks like.

Today we hosted our inaugural Executive Team Building Rowing Experience at iROW.

Three business partners stepped into a quad with Coach Jack in the boat while I coached from the motorboat alongside them.

With each stroke, they experienced how communication, trust, balance, and adaptability form the foundation of a successful team in any environment.

There were plenty of laughs, a few wobbly moments, and a real sense of accomplishment as the crew worked toward a shared rhythm.

Great teams aren’t defined by perfection. They’re defined by their willingness to listen, adjust, and find their rhythm together, one stroke at a time.

What does it take to row across an ocean alone? Well, for starters, a seaworthy vessel. ROW OF LIFE was as unique as her owner: had been through the wringer on a handful of previous ocean rows, but after a mean makeover, she was ready once more for the high seas.

ROW OF LIFE is a 20’ ocean rowing boat. It has a watermaker, solar panels, and all necessary gadgets and gizmos to sustain life at sea for long distance. It doesn’t have a motor or sail. To get across the Pacific Ocean, Marine Corps veteran and Paralympian Angela Madsen would have to pull on the oars approximately one million times to make it across 2,500 miles of open water.

To learn more about her extraordinary voyage, check out the documentary ROW OF LIFE available now on @appletv @primevideo and @documentaryplus

One of Palermo's hidden gems: an evening with Patrizia and Giuliana, a mother-and-daughter team offering private dinners and cooking classes in their charming art-filled home.

Great food, good company, and plenty of Sicilian hospitality.

From lifting heavy wooden oars to launching a beautiful old wooden boat, every moment of the Vogalonga felt like stepping back in time.
Miles of rowing through the canals and lagoon of Venice, surrounded by thousands of boats, unforgettable views, and even better people.
Two incredible crews. One amazing coach. Countless laughs, sore muscles, and memories that will last a lifetime. Distance: ~30 to 32 kilometers
We came from different boats, different backgrounds, and different experiences, but for one unforgettable day, we rowed as one.
Venice, you were magic. 🇮🇹🚣‍♀️❤️

What I love about masters rowing is that everyone has one thing in common: rowing. 🚣
Otherwise? We come from different countries, different backgrounds, different stages of life. Some are parents, some aren’t, our ages span from teenagers to people in their 60s, and somehow it all just works.
Grateful for all of these humans, and I can’t wait to celebrate life together in Italy, 16 of us rowers!
Happy, happy birthday, @Charlie_Edgar 🤍
