blinked and it’s over.

high school track will forever be near to my heart. It has been such an amazing last 4 years. even though it didn’t end exactly how I wanted it to, I am forever thankful for the gift of this sport. the friends and memories from track are worth far more than any achievements you will ever get, remember that.

The real purpose of running isn’t to win a race, it’s to test the limits of the human heart. — Bill Bowerman

I had a great time this weekend at the Oregon Relays where I got to run against some crazy good competition. The previous week I ran a 9:27 3200 to qualify for the Championship 2 mile at Hayward. This race was unlike any I have ever been in, the environment was electric and the race was a blast. I PRd and ran a 9:11 full 2 mile and a 9:08 3200. Excited to keep pushing my limits!

Pumped to see the CDA Distance crew racing at NXR tomorrow. A bunch of them are former NIDP athletes we’ve trained and raced with. Now we get to be the ones cheering them on. Go CDA Distance!
