🇬🇧 I made this cosplay in 7 days! 🙉 And it felt so good to deep dive into cosplay again 🥹. I’m usually more of a slow crafter – meaning crafting a single cosplay takes me months / years, depending on its complexity – so to challenge myself to complete something within a very short time frame, and seeing concrete progress every day was a breath of fresh air. And honestly, I needed this win. It’s easy to lose motivation and doubt your own abilities when all your projects stretch in the long run Yes, it’s not screen accurate like usual, some details + paint are missing, and I have like two days of hand-sewing left to make the inside perfect, but I am so proud of the outcome! For this build, I learned how to pattern and sew an authentic-looking yukata by translating a Japanese website, tried my hand for the first time at gradient dyeing, and tested new tools / materials for stenciling 🥰 For those who don’t know, Yoimiya is a very dear character to me. I’ve been working on her OG version for 4 years now, and it’s going to be my masterpiece. So to finally be able to cosplay her, despite being an alternative version, was an indescribable feeling. Not to mention that I got to take amazing pictures last Sunday in a gorgeous Japanese garden during KamiPlay. Role-playing her for photoshoots filled my heart with so much joy and fulfillment. I can’t wait to wear this cos again 🤧🩷 Materials used: linen (yukata), viscose (belt) rayher batik hand-dye pebeo setacolor fabric paint opaque stencils: mylar sheets 7 mil. 🇬🇧 What time is it? It’s Adventure Time! This time immortalized by Renaud 🥰 While it was so much fun to wear this old cosplay again at KamiPlay last year, I’m very excited to debut my newest cosplay there next Sunday! Harajuku - Saturday ! I went to @festival.harajuku in Paris in September. It's a really nice convention in a park right in Paris and we were lucky to have some great weather ! It's also my 2nd convention where I tried my new editing technique that allows me to give pictures much faster without sacrificing too much on quality. 🇬🇧 Manifesting the Adventure Time fandom in big 2026 👀✨ Only a few remember this cosplay of mine. And for good reason. It’s a decade old! Anyone there from my Facebook era? 🫣 To be honest, I did not plan to wear Fionna again. But with KamiPlay’s heat and green scenery, turns out it was the perfect cos to wear. And not gonna lie, I didn’t have many options since I gained some weight back then and couldn’t fit in most of my cosplay. Oops xDD. But I have to say, I love this cosplay on my chubbier body. Je vous souhaite à toutes et à tous une très belle et heureuse année 2026 🥰✨ Je commence doucement à retrouver de l’énergie. 2025 aura été une véritable course personnelle, et aussi une pause forcée dans la photo… mais je ne compte pas laisser cette situation durer éternellement 🫶 Cet arrêt m’a fait réaliser à quel point j’aime profondément la photographie. À quel point j’ai envie de continuer à créer de belles images, et surtout que je n’ai pas forcément besoin de vivre cette passion à travers les réseaux sociaux 👀 Pendant longtemps, j’ai beaucoup focalisé sur les likes et la visibilité. Aujourd’hui, je me dis tant pis. C’est une passion, et ce n’est pas l’essentiel. Cette page restera donc un catalogue de mes souvenirs, un reflet de mon univers 🥰 Sans pression. Sans obligation de poster. Sans me forcer pour de mauvaises raisons. Si mon travail doit être reconnu un jour, tant mieux. Sinon… tant pis ☺️ La naissance d’un enfant remet tellement de choses en perspective : nos attentes, nos objectifs, nos priorités. Alors à toutes celles et ceux qui ont envie de créer avec moi, n’hésitez pas à me proposer des idées, on verra ensemble si c’est possible 🥰✨ Désormais, je ne cherche plus que la passion et la magie — dans vos yeux comme dans les miens. 🇬🇧 It’s been so long since I started my Nami Stampede cosplay, that the previous tutos were made under Instagram’s famous square format 😆🥲 A couple of years ago, I couldn’t make the shoes and Climat-tact in time for the event I was planning to wear her to. And since then, it’s been weighing on my mind. I love this outfit so much. So I’m very proud to say that she’s now 100% done! Plus, I wore her twice recently, and I was blessed with super pretty pics 🥹🧡 Back to today’s tuto. I must say I’m especially happy with how her boots turned out. The extra step I added to my cover routine changed everything. And it was: ripping the outer sole! This time, after I sewed my cover – instead of gluing it directly onto the base shoes and cutting the seam allowance as close as possible to the sole edges – I first carefully removed the outer sole, and glued the seam allowance (and only the seam allowance) to the bottom of the inner sole. Then, when everything was dried, I glued the outer sole back in place. 🇬🇧 Don’t be like me. Here’s what NOT to do to craft Nami’s climat tact 🙈 Even experienced cosplayers sometimes make poor choices, and that’s what I did – repeatedly 🥲. While the end result looks okay, it got damaged on day 1 + the collapsible system is unreliable. So without further ado, here’s what I should have done instead: model and print the thing in 3D, at least the center part and “bulb” parts, to make it sturdy and save time and money use screwable connectors, instead of magnets, to make the build stronger use an airbrush, instead of spray paint, to get more control over the finish Here in this tuto, you only see what ended up working. But I faced so many troubles along the way: Plastidip melting the polystyrene despite the priming, having to fill the holes with wood paste and even remaking one of the “bulbs” from scratch, too many layers of Flexipaint, too many hours of sanding to get nice curves and a smooth finish, neodymium magnets somehow not strong enough, wooden connectors getting stuck in place, very toxic spray paint, and the polystyrene getting permanently damaged after the finished prop fell once on the ground 🙃 I knew from the start 3D printing was the wisest choice, but I ignored it for the sake of the challenge and the satisfaction of crating something with my own two hands. ✨️COSPLAY HACK✨️ Easy & cheap way to craft realistic leather-like EVA foam belts and straps 😌 Materials used: - 2mm EVA foam ➜ you need twice the width to get those beautiful round edges - Contact cement + PPE ➜ let the glue dry for 10-15 min - Heatgun + aluminum foil + PPE ➜ to add texture - Foam primer ➜ to seal the foam - Acrylic paint + weathering ➜ to add dimension - Topstitch thread ➜ to mimic real leatherwork - Buckles ➜ to finish the look Optional : flexible varnish and non-slip elastic bands to glue on the back so the strap stays in place This was the last piece needed for my Nami cosplay from One Piece, Stampede movie version, and I'm in love with the result! 🇬🇧 I know you’ve been waiting for it 😏 Pictures from our 2025 summer photoshoots are finally here and look at these!
