Must Visit in Colorado before the end of 2026 💾(𝐒𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫)

📍Skyline Drive near Cañon City @visitcanoncity

Skyline Drive is a very narrow 2.6 mile scenic road that follows the top of a razorback ridge overlooking Cañon City, Colorado at @royalgorgeregion

Important: the Skyline Drive is very narrow, with steep inclines and declines. You will be driving along a ridge, with sheer cliffs on either side, and there are no guardrails‼️ All traffic is one way: Once you start down Skyline Drive, you cannot turn around.

However there are multiple pull-outs located along the way, so you can take a break.

What’s the craziest road you have ever rode?

NEW EPISODE 🚨

@royalgorgebridge in Cañon City Colorado is home to the tallest zipline in North America and travels over the gorge! Seemed like a great adventure to face my fears!

Afterward, I discovered that there is a winery at a church here! @theabbeywinery had delicious wine and phenomenal food!

I capped things off at a speakeasy in my hotel! Safe to say Cañon City was full of surprises and an amazing Colorado getaway!

🚂 How to Spend a Day at Royal Gorge, Colorado 🏔️

🧿🧿🧿

Start your day with the 9 AM Royal Gorge Route Railroad and try to arrive about 90 minutes early. Grab breakfast at Kopper Kettle, just about half a mile from the railroad, then head to the free parking at the train station. Make sure to check in at least 30 minutes before departure and enjoy the scenic ride! 🚂✨

After the train, drive about 15–20 minutes to Royal Gorge Bridge & Park. Purchase your admission ticket, walk across the incredible bridge and enjoy the Aerial Gondola, which is included with admission. 🌉🚡 If you’re looking for more adventure, ziplining and the Skycoaster are available for an additional cost.

✨ Train → Bridge → Gondola → Adventure = a perfect Royal Gorge day!
