Family history unlocked: this past week, I discovered this document in a Lithuanian archive, recording the death of my great great grandfather, Yudel Leib, translated as Julius. This father of five did not make it to America, but his memory continues: his immigrant daughter named her New York-born son — my dear grandfather — Julius. And now my nephew is Julian. 125 years later, the legacy lives on. Thank you so much to @rozatulyag for your translation.

Spring Semester certainly left its mark on me, and for better or worse we made it 😬
With just how many people I got pushing me past my goals and into new opportunities I am so thankful for everyone’s support throughout my time here at Mississippi State!

Throwback to my last choir concert at MSU :(. I had the honor of conducting my lovely lovely Schola Cantorum (affectionately dubbed Scho Scho), as well as singing with both them and State Singers. I’m so grateful for what choir has given to me, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put it all into words. I love you all. Someday I’ll meet you again <3

thank you for the music! i wish i could stay in this moment forever, but life goes on. to each and every person i met in college, thank you and i’ll cherish the memories we share forever. i’m so sad and life is so scary, but with all the love and support from all of these people, it’s bearable. and it’s WORTH IT. so i say thank you for the music, for giving it to me 💜
