A few changes, some new and exciting things taking shape, adjustments to my schedule. And a growing desire to get back to the studio, to painting.
.

The thickness of being fragile
On view until December at Auditório de Espinho – Academia.
Thread, intertwined, stitched between my skin and the other’s. Connections almost invisible, built from body to body, point by point.
This series explores vulnerability, care and the constant act of rebuilding. The fragile not as weakness, but as something that can bring us closer, create space for the other, and become a form of strength.
.

A few works have been waiting in the drawers for a little too long.
I still love them, but sometimes the thread moves on and the work stays behind. So, before new things take over the studio, I thought it was time to bring some of these pieces back into the light.
A small selection of works at special prices, for a short while.
DM me for details and prices. I will share the pics of each one in the stories.
And yes… my first ever voice-over. Be kind. 😅
.
E sim… a primeira vez a fazer uma voz-off. Sejam simpáticos. 😅

Summer is over and, even though the days are still warm and heavy, I find myself wanting to retreat to the studio.
The past few weeks have been long, filled with the logistics and organisation of works travelling out into the world. Now the ideas are loose, hovering around, and my hands are eager to make.
More and more, I want to move from idea into matter, asking questions that slowly find their way through processes that take their own time to unfold.
.
