POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This past month marked the end of my time as the ASID NJ Student Representative, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

This past year, I’ve had the opportunity to visit schools, create events, and advocate for interior design students all across New Jersey. I’m so grateful to my fellow board members and ASID for this amazing experience and the opportunity to grow as a leader.

I’m excited to pass the torch to Rubi Hoyos and can’t wait to see all the amazing things she’ll accomplish in this role!

Thank ASID NJ, for giving me this incredible opportunity ❤️🤍

There is so much to do at Market - so much to see and learn and touch. But just as much as we come away from our time in High Point with invaluable new information about furniture, rugs and lighting - we have a blast with friends new and old!

Stay tuned for more insights, new discoveries and color, pattern and texture from the past weekend 💚

Folio Friday📚: Congrats to 🌟Rachel Nowikas🌟, ASID Allied, @rsdesignmanagementn for her 🏆Design Excellence Award-Winning🏆 living room renovation.

She transformed a formal, fireplace-dominated space into a refined, conversation-driven environment. A reimagined fireplace wall, bold green built-ins, and layered materials introduce warmth and depth. A flexible seating layout and integrated art TV support modern living, creating a space that is both elevated and inviting.

What a DesignXPO! ✨

ASID NJ #DesignXPO was truly one for the books! From inspiring CEU sessions to meaningful celebrations, the day was filled with connection, learning, and moments worth remembering.

We kicked things off with @elan_design_interiors_fineart sharing insights on neuroaesthetics, followed by our Presidents’ Luncheon and Pass the Gavel, where we welcomed the FY 2026–2027 Board. We also introduced our very first Legacy Awards, honoring Diane Gote (@design_worksnj), Kimberley Slater (@designrep_kslater), and Celeste Chirichello (@celestechirichello) for their incredible commitment and contributions to ASID. 🤍

We wrapped up the day with @intelligent.designer.ai engaging session on AI and its impact on the design industry.

If you missed #DesignXPO, you definitely missed a good one! Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this event such a huge success.
To our exhibitors: we truly appreciate your commitment and dedication to the design community. Without your valuable participation and support, we could not have achieved such a successful event! ✨

I’m incredibly honored and deeply grateful to be the next President of the ASID New Jersey Chapter.

To stand alongside such an incredible group of individuals dynamic leaders who challenge one another, learn from each other, collaborate openly, and bring different perspectives to the table is truly a privilege.

Together, we’re creating a culture where ideas are shared, solutions are shaped collectively, and our focus remains on strengthening the design community while elevating our industry as a whole.

I’m excited for what’s ahead and even more excited about what we can accomplish together.

Here’s to collaboration, connection, innovation, and a very promising future for design in New Jersey.
and remember … Big Smile 😃

What I thought would be a once in a lifetime opportunity last year in Atlanta… proved me wrong this year in the most beautiful way. It was such a pleasure to attend ASID GATHER: Catalyst #2026, held at @dallasmarket this year!

Someone once told me that they want to be in the room where it happens… and this was totally it. Especially the keynote by @rontite, where the emphasis was on telling YOUR story. Leadership is all about understanding others’ stories and recognizing how everyone plays a (huge) role in making great things happen.

Thank you @asidnj for giving me this opportunity yet again!

Our chapter was well represented by these incredible members at #ASIDGATHER Catalyst 2026! ✨

Looking forward to an incredible year ahead, starting with DesignXPO in less than 10 days!

See y’all there! 🤠 We may have gotten a little influenced by Texas! 😉

The best-designed spaces make room for the way we gather.

From morning coffee to evening cocktails, bar spaces have become an opportunity to bring warmth, function, and personality into a design.

At Grothouse, custom means giving designers more freedom to create those moments—from natural wood surfaces to Anvil™ Metal, Synthesis™ bar rails, and Durata® finishes.
