I’m beyond excited to announce that I will be committing to Misericordia University to continue my academic and athletic career playing soccer at the next level!

Ever since I first started playing soccer, it has been a dream of mine to compete at the next level, and I’m so grateful that dream is now becoming a reality.

First and most importantly, I want to thank my parents. You have always supported me no matter what, made sacrifices for me, and pushed me to be my best every single day. Thank you for believing in me even when things were tough. I love you both more than I can put into words, and I wouldn’t be here without you.

I also want to thank my siblings, my grandparents, and the rest of my family for always being there for me. And to my friends thank you for pushing me in workouts, coming to games, celebrating the wins, and picking me up after the losses. You’ve kept me motivated, made the journey fun, and reminded me why I love the game. Having a group that believes in me and stands by me means everything. I’m grateful for every memory we’ve made and for all the support you’ve shown me along the way.

Thank you to Coach Gerke, Coach Dani Rivas, Coach Mike, and Coach Rich for everything you’ve done to help me grow as a player and a person. I’m also incredibly thankful to Coach Moore and Coach Caeden for giving me the opportunity to be a part of Misericordia and believing in me.

Difficult to say goodbye, but glad that it happened. Soccer has been all i’ve known for my whole life. It’s given me lifelong brothers and lifelong memories. Thank you so much to my coaches who supported me along the way and most importantly my mom. She never missed a game and was always there cheering me on in the stands. Thank you soccer for giving me things that will stick with me for the rest of my life. Wouldn’t wanna play my last game with any other group of guys. Thank you @smithtowneastsoccer #8out

Goodbye Coach Monahan

For a decade and a half, Coach Monahan has poured her heart into the girls of Connetquot — shaping players, building teams, and changing lives along the way. What she’s meant to all of us leaves a void that can never be filled. Every player who’s had the privilege of being coached by her is forever thankful for her guidance, her strength, and her heart.
