Shouldn’t we demand more from our city?

The City should be setting the standard for how properties are maintained and managed downtown—not contributing to the problem.

We should be working with our existing downtown businesses and helping them succeed, not pushing them aside to make way for more high-density housing.

What do you want to see for Corona’s future-a vibrant, thriving downtown or simply more apartments?

While I was out canvassing this week, I stumbled across this wall, and I recognized it immediately because a concerned and active Corona resident had recently posted about its condition.

Fortunately, Joe Morgan was walking with me and was able to provide some clarity about who is responsible for maintaining this area: The CITY…

But here’s the bigger question:

This neighborhood has been fully developed for decades. Should it still look like this?

We hear a lot of talk about new projects, new development and big plans for Corona , but what about taking care of the neighborhoods and infrastructure we already have?

Do you feel like your City Council is paying enough attention to the condition and upkeep of YOUR neighborhood?

After eight years with the same leadership, I think it’s fair to look around and ask whether we can do better.

I believe we can. And that’s why I’m running.

It’s time to stop accepting ā€œgood enough.ā€

It’s time for new eyes, new priorities and new leadership in Corona.

Joe Morgan, candidate for Corona City Council District 1, shares why he’s concerned about a methadone clinic operating next to the Corona Public Library, and what he believes the City can do about it.

This isn’t just about identifying a problem. It’s about finding solutions, protecting our public spaces, and making sure residents have a voice in the decisions that impact their community.

Traffic is a problem. But solving one problem shouldn’t mean creating another.

Tonight the City is considering major changes to El Sobrante Street that would reduce traffic capacity along a corridor lined with local businesses.

Here’s my bigger concern: the businesses that could be directly impacted weren’t even given a heads up.

Shoutout to Joe Morgan for taking the time to go door-to-door and make sure these business owners knew what was coming before the vote.

We absolutely need solutions to Corona’s traffic problems. But before City Hall makes drastic changes that could impact access, customers, and ultimately someone’s livelihood, the people affected deserve a seat at the table.

Study the traffic. Study the economic impact. Talk to the businesses. Then make the decision.

That shouldn’t be controversial. That should be how local government works

Joe Morgan has been showing up for more than a decade -long before he was a candidate.

Here, Joe eloquently explains why he believes our utility rates keep climbing: an overreliance on consultants selling their own solutions, overcomplicated technology, and expensive systems that can ultimately cost residents more than proven, traditional approaches.

When it comes to something as basic as reading a water meter, does more technology always mean better results?

For over 10 years, Joe has attended meetings, asked tough questions, and stood up for Corona residents, businesses, and their tax dollars.

He didn’t just start paying attention because he’s running for office.

He’s running because he’s been paying attention.
