POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

30+ YEARS. THOUSANDS OF FACES. ONE PASSION.

After more than three decades behind the camera, you might think I’ve seen it all.

But here’s the beautiful truth…

Every face is still a first for me. ❤️

Every person who steps in front of my lens brings a different story, a different energy, and a beauty that belongs to them alone.

I’ve never believed photography was simply about capturing what someone looks like.

It’s about discovering what makes them shine.

Sometimes it’s confidence they didn’t know they had. Sometimes it’s a smile they’ve forgotten how to share. And sometimes, it’s seeing themselves in a way they never imagined possible.

That’s the magic I still feel after all these years.

The cameras have changed. The industry has evolved. But the joy I experience when someone sees their own beauty?

That feeling never gets old.

Because to me, you’re never just another face.

You’re a new story. A new beginning. A beautiful possibility ready to bloom. ✨

True beauty is unseen. ❤️

Bringing back the times where homegrown local business owners + downtown professionals could go out after work and enjoy like hanabata days.

We are curating an amazing playlist that will surely bring back the memories and vibes from back in the day.

Today's majority public radio and mainstream social media music is not our target for this stellar social ... The music is not appealing to anyone over 30 in the professional scene ( well some like their closet hip hop and in car raps! Lol ... ) But you won't be hearing any of that Cr@p here ... But you will enjoy ...

Touch of 70s Soul ... 80s Pop. 80s Freestlye. 80s Disco. 80s Rock + 90s Hip Hop ( Rappers Delight kine ) and the smoothest 2000s RNB and we slide in some great country hits here and there.

So "LIKE" "SHARE" REPOST and spread the word to all your friends n family blessed to be in the 30 plus gang !!!

Tuesday September 29th The Bay Hnl

Hey everyone,
Every year, September 11 reminds me how quickly life can change — and how deeply we can love, grieve, remember, and rise.

My heart is with every life lost, every family forever changed, and every soul who still carries that day with them.

May we continue to choose compassion over division, hope over fear, and love over hate.

We remember.
We honor.
We rise.

America, forever strong. 🇺🇸

Big hug- Russ

MY JOY HUB IS HERE! ❤️

I wanted to create one place where you can connect with me and find a little more JOY whenever you need it.

Inspiration. Connection. Photography. Project Shine Hawaii. Resources. Community — and more to come.

And because JOY is meant to be shared, if you know someone who could use a joyful lift, send them my way. ❤️

Scan the QR code and come on in.

Consider it a little JOY on demand. 😊

And remember… no matter what is happening in you or around you, ALWAYS CHOOSE JOY.

Big hug,

A little refresh

I’ve spent my entire life building my career from the ground up. I believe in earning opportunities, being treated fairly, and never compromising my values for a bigger paycheck or a faster path to success.

I’m incredibly grateful for the creative community and team I’m surrounded by today because we share the same vision. I’d rather build something authentic, meaningful, and lasting than chase fame for its own sake. At the end of the day, legacy will always mean more to me than celebrity. 🩷🙏💯

THANK YOU 🙏
for all your beautiful birthday wishes!
I read every single one and felt your words.

My one wish this year was…
Peace.

Not just for me…

But for you.

For your family.

For our community.

For Hawaiʻi.
For our country.
For our world.

I truly believe peace doesn’t begin in governments or headlines.

It begins with each of us.

It begins in the way we speak.
The way we forgive.
The kindness we choose.
The grace we extend.
The love we give when it’s easier to judge.

If every one of us chose to bring a little more peace into someone’s life today, imagine what tomorrow could look like.

As I begin this new year of my life, I celebrate a good life—not because it has been perfect, but because it has been filled with incredible people, unforgettable moments, countless blessings, and opportunities to love.

So instead of asking for presents…

I’m asking for a promise.

Be the peace someone else needs today.

Because one peaceful heart inspires another…

…and together, we can create a more peaceful community, a more peaceful state, a more peaceful country, and ultimately, a more peaceful world.

One Wish.
PEACE.

With gratitude,
Russell Tanoue
