Meating Korean BBQ Buffet CBD// Currently in the biggest food coma after last nights AYCE Korean BBQ and DIY army stew at @meating_melbourne ! They had a great variety of meats and hot Korean dishes and I think it’s really worth the price. The promotion they’re running right now is perfect for a group catch up over tasty Korean food and drinks. At their Meating CBD restaurant they’re running a new 3+1 promotion where on Monday- Thursday after 5:30pm, if you come in a group of four, one person dines in for free. Which means your bill will come to around $37 per person instead of $49.50. We added some premium soju, the banana and cranberry ($17) which was so interesting and we really enjoyed both flavours!! The owners were super friendly and helpful and the food was tasty especially considering the prices. 📍 Jubang | Carnegie Another Kbbq joint opened in the south-eastern suburbs of Carnegie🙌🏻 Came here for a quick lunch on the weekend and everything was tasty! We ordered Set A which came with wagyu oyster blade, marinated pork neck and beef rib galbi🥩 Wagyu oyster blade was nice and tender, perfect with the free dipping condiments. Marinated pork neck was also full of flavour😋 The mushroom soup that came with the meat set was a different addition to your regular kimchi or beef bulgogi stew you get from other places🍄 Soaked in the rice the soup was light and delicious. The beef tartar was interesting, as it was served with nori sheet, avo slice and nashi pear. I found the beef a tad chewy, probably preferred the beef to be cut up into smaller pieces. “Well-done” on the meat @jubang.au 📌 😋 I think I found one of my new favourite KBBQ places in Melbourne. The Wagyu meat was so tender and just perfect when medium rare! The interior of the restaurant was sleek and had a minimalist look. The staff are attentive and cook the meat for you; so sit back and relax 🥳 . My friends and I ordered : 🥩 Jubang Set B which includes Wagyu Scoth fillet, Marinated thin skirt, Angus Short rib meat, Marinated Pork neck, Marinated beef belly and a Choice of jeongol. We chose beef soybean jeongol 😋 🥩 Wagyu Yukhoe: Seasoned fresh raw beef served with pear, raw egg yolk, avocado and seaweed sheets for wrapping. 🥃 grapefruit soju & milkis Everything was really tasty, I’d like to try the cold noodles next time and other sets! ⁣ A new sleek and modern Korean BBQ restaurant has just opened up in the heart of Carnegie, on Koornang Rd! ⁣ ⁣ Food/Drinks featured:⁣ 🥩 Premium Wagyu Set ⭐️ ⁣ 🍚 Bibimbap ⁣ ⁣ Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed everything that I tried! The wagyu quality was fantastic and just melted in my mouth. The kimchi jiggae was the most perfect thing to warm me up on the cold night that I went. The staff there were also very friendly, they even offered to cook our meat for us! Jubang// @jubang.au is a Korean restaurant located in Carnegie serving incredibly delicious food, from your KBBQ and other Korean dishes! We tried the: ▪️Jubang Set A - wagyu oyster blade, marinated short rib meat, marinated pork neck and a seafood tofu spicy stew served with 2 bowls of rice ($105) ▪️Seafood Pancake ($19) ▪️Cold noodles - Buckwheat noodles in icy chilled beef broth topped with sliced pear, pickled radish, cucumber, sliced beef and a boiled egg ($18) ▪️Corn cheese ($13) Would highly recommend ordering the seafood pancake, it was probably the best I’ve ever had in Melbourne. It was so crispy and had such a generous serving of seafood and batter- so when dipped in the sauce it was the perfect snack. The corn cheese had such a generous serving of cheese and they definitely didn’t compensate on the quality of any of their dishes. The seafood tofu soup was so comforting and I liked how it wasn’t overly spicy. Overall we really liked this place! We found all the meats to be good quality and very tasty. Everything was grilled over charcoal, which gave the meat that distinct smokey flavour.
