Meet Ruben Fro joining us online for the MatchHat Creative Multimedia Showcase at FabCafe Kyoto on September 25. Ruben’s recent work focuses on large-scale visuals and spatial experiences, including live visuals for Anyma, Sphere in Las Vegas, and Charlotte de Witte, as well as installation work for Meta. A major part of his recent research also explores Gaussian Splatting, real-time 3D and AR, and AI-driven spatial tools, including projects with World Labs. Returning for the second time is @brittany_kurtinecz and @rubenfro and their inaugural showing with us is @3eyes.iii Hayama is a quiet and very peaceful beach town. I'm hoping to get at least one complaint for the "light pollution" from any nearby ojiisan baasans. Pieces will be visible to passers by and showings will take place on the weekends from now until May 11th.
