@celine for @vogueportugal September print issue styled by me, with the best team. 🌼🖤 “Pattern-ity” Patterns, structures that shape the way we perceive and inhabit the world, manifest themselves in different ways throughout our lives: some are expressed through our actions, becoming behavioural habits; others appear in the way we dress, through prints, textures and visual compositions. Although they belong to different realms, they share the same principle: repetition as a mechanism for constructing identity, in a loop that ultimately comes to define us. Repetition lies at the heart of this editorial. It is present in the patterns of the fabrics, but also in the gestures, expressions and movements that twin sisters share almost instinctively. Between what is repeated and what is transformed, each pattern becomes a reflection of a bond built together, yet experienced individually. This editorial explores the intersection of these ideas, where patterns move beyond being purely visual elements to become a metaphor for the structures that form part of our everyday lives and the way we construct who we are. What we see on the outside is also a reflection of what we observe, repeat and absorb within.
