Rudolf Fitz
Lasting memories

Thursday, 22.10.2026
17:00 - 20:00

in presence of the artist

Rudolf Fitz (*1989) lives and works in Vienna, Austria.

Lasting memories marks the artist's first solo show in Luxembourg. In his oil paintings, Rudolf Fitz creates fictional realities reflecting aspects of every day street life. Through his vivid and reality-based work, the artist aims to evoke childhood memories and personal longings in the viewer. Although the connection to his own roots remains central to his work, the viewer will find a personal relation to the scenes through their own memories and emotions.

exhibition until 21.11.2026

MERCI for a wonderful Vienna Design Week 🌭✨

It has been a great pleasure designing our unique Potpourri Würstelstand for this years 20th anniversary of @viennadesignweek

Merci to all our partners, @studio_dessi @lobmeyr @lobmeyrlighting @mariedares @adamgeorg @werkstaette_carlauboeck @rudolf.fitz, for collaborating with us. Your designs fulfilled our vision and it wouldn’t have been what it is without you.

The last 10 festival days were truly special, merci to all visitors for joining our installation! Especially our würstelstand evening on Saturday was a massive highlight, having over 100 curious würstelstand minds celebrating a Viennese world heritage.

Family in tow, plus friend went to check out one of our Vienna Design Week highlights — and this one was very Vienna indeed. 🌭 (thnx, Yara)

POTPOURRI.STUDIO took on the cultural heritage of the good old Wiener Würstelstand at Atelier FË: Sacherwürstel, beer, DJ set, art by Rudolf Fitz and a rather lovely mix of Austrian design — Carl Auböck, Lobmeyr, Studio Dessi and more.

And something founder Felix told us that I somehow had missed: Vienna’s Würstelstand culture has officially been recognised as intangible UNESCO cultural heritage since 2024. Quite right, too. Where else do all walks of life meet over a Käsekrainer at 2am?

Design meets Würstelstand culture. What’s not to love?

A perfect little Vienna Design Week Saturday detour — good people, good design, good Würstel.

We recently celebrated the opening of the 10th edition of Chambres d’amis at Salon Seliger @seligervienna — and it was a beautiful, sunny and special occasion. 🌞

A wonderful crowd, a warm atmosphere, beautiful interiors and art that feels perfectly at home. At Seliger it always feels less like an art presentation and more like being welcomed into the home of friends who love art.

I’m very happy to be part of this exhibition together with artists whose work I admire:

@rudolf.fitz
Joanna Gleich
@christinagschwantner
Franz Lun
@li__004
@annelieseschrenk
@ninarikespringer
@staudinger.hermann
@desislavaunger
@k.schoenle

Curated by @artplexartconsulting / Lucia Hudovernik. 💕

A special thank you to Silvia Berghofer for her warmth, her hospitality and her genuine appreciation for contemporary art. It is beautiful to see how naturally art and bespoke interiors come together at Salon Seliger.

The reel only gives a small glimpse of the exhibition — more than 50 works are on display, so there is much more to discover in person. The works will be on view at Salon Seliger for one year, so just come by and take a look!
