Pain free workout again…❤️
.
…maybe I should wait a bit longer before running again though 🤔

“What did you do to your face?” is always the reaction in my household, whenever I shave my beard 👀
.
I personally don’t think I look that bad 😂

I felt like being lazy today and not going to the gym…
.
Then I remembered how being lazy eventually ended up with me getting up to 130kg in my 30s 🤦🏾‍♂️
.
I thought back to an episode in a changing room, having an internal meltdown because I couldn’t fit into any of the clothes I liked 👀
.
Funnily enough, my motivation returned all of a sudden and I went to the gym and ran 5km 🏃🏾‍♂️
.
Maybe that’s because I like buying clothes? Who knows 😂
.
Either way, I managed to put in some work this morning ✅
.
Also, laziness won’t help me to reach 2,000 kilometers in 2026, will it? 😁

All kilometers after 6km are just bonus ones that will come in handy for reaching my annual running distance goal of 2,000 kilometers 🤷🏾‍♂️

A solid playlist can make the world of difference 💯
.
Today’s run felt ok, apart from the fact that the under side of my outer left foot has started rubbing against my sneakers when running 😩
.
Not even plasters helped 👀
.
On a positive note those, my fitness level is still there 😁
.
Despite this, running into the weekend feels great as always 🏃🏾‍♂️
.
More kilometers tomorrow ❤️

1,252 kilometers ran so far this year 🏃🏾‍♂️
.
Having a rest day yesterday did me the world of good ❤️
.
I’ll be sitting on the sofa for the rest of the day though 😁
.
Lazy Sundays for the win 💯

Tried to break in my new running shoes today 🏃🏾‍♂️👟
.
Too much friction on my foot made me tap out at 5km 🔥
.
Any pace above 6 mins per km made it worse 😩
.
This was a shame since I could have ran for much longer 🤦🏾‍♂️
.
Oh well, slower runs it is for now then 🤷🏾‍♂️
.
They count too 💯

Using plasters meant that my my skin was less irritated during today’s run 💯
.
8km done and dusted - 1,230 kilometers ran so far this year 🏃🏾‍♂️

The journey continues 👊🏾💥

Sunday runday was cut short due to the skin on my outer foot rubbing against my shoe 🤦🏾‍♂️
.
Every time I ran faster, it felt worse 😩
.
I think I visit to the medical footcare specialist is long overdue, since the bottom of my feet feel like concrete 😂
.
Running is great for fitness, not so much for your feet though ✅
