We did it! Thank you to everyone that donated their gently used running shoes! Thank you @native_women_run Phx and @phx_run for your donations. And a huge congratulations and thank you to @stepforwardshoedonation who is providing the donations to the Navajo Nation community.

A big thank you to everyone who donated their shoes for @stepforwardshoedonation. Yesterday was the first set up at a @tcrhcc Just Move It event at the Coppermine Chapter House. We were able to provide 25 shoes to members in this community!! It was a great turnout and we are looking forward to seeing you at the next JMI event in Cedar Ridge!! We recommend you try on the shoe that works best for you at these events.

*If you would like to donate your used shoes bring them to the next event (Cedar Ridge, AZ) and we’ll gladly take them.

Thank you to @vacationraces,@native_women_run , @phx_run and @tcrhcc for giving us space in your community to provide a better running experience for others.

It’s always so good when we come together. We run, laugh and share. So many inspiring women to know and share a path with. We always have a great time together!
Also so glad we could run with and support @tonnerickac in her journey as a new run club leader (in Shiprock). Proud of her for making run club in her community. Building community is tough but we all need it and crave it so much that we can’t wait for the next group run:)
Until the next time, run in beauty ladies🪶💕

We are teaming up with @phx_run for their Thursday Tempo Town Lake group run and hosting a running shoe drive! 👟 Donate your previously loved running shoes and come run with us!

Running serves as an excellent community activity, and we take pride in giving back. Native Women Runners in the Phoenix area are gathering gently used to fair condition running shoes for participants in the run/walk Just Move It program on the Navajo Reservation. All collected shoes will be distributed to Diné runners via @stepforwardshoedonation

We invite you to join us in this shoe drive!!
