Spend the afternoon with me and Kris from the @runperformancelab

Great studio, great session, great analysis. Tremendous amounts of knowledge. Thanks for all of your help and support over the last 5 years.

So glad to have such an amazing service available to me, so close to home too.

🏃‍♀️Had a really good session with Kris at @runperformancelab looking at the things that actually matter when it comes to running well — and staying running (injury free).

We worked through strength & conditioning, single-leg stability and gait analysis, breaking down how I move and where I can improve.

It’s easy to focus on pace, distance and getting the miles in, but sometimes the best progress comes from slowing things down and looking at how you’re moving.

Plenty to work on now — which is exactly what I wanted. 💪

Big thanks to Kris for the knowledge and for giving me some proper things to take away and work on.

The Kindness of Others 💚🐾💙🐾

I was up and out early this morning as we have an Epic day ahead (I will bore you with that another time 🤣). 3 miles in to my run I spotted The Cutest little puppy and of course had to stop for a snuggle 🐾

I was chatting with his human and explained I am not just a weirdo randomly cuddling stranger's pets, I am marathon training and fundraising for the animals (yes Sara shamelessly plugging 🤣) he asked if I had a fundraising page, told me the pup and his name and we said our goodbyes 👋

How gorgeous it was to arrive home and see this donation from Cozy & Ben 🥹🥹🥹

With just 3 weeks to go until the Great North Run & 10 weeks until New York Marathon these beautiful acts of kindness reminds me more and more why I do what I do 🐾💚💙🐾

Have a gorgeous weekend my friends and of course if you can spare a pound or two the donation link is in comments 🙏

Lorraine xx

A successful day supporting the South Cave 10k, as the Run Performance Lab sponsored this year’s event and the EYRR turned up in numbers to compete. Taking the win and Course Record in both the men’s and women’s race (well done @oliver.donkin with 30:48 and @becky_briggs_nrg with 35:12). As well as winning both men’s and women’s team prizes (Oli and Will in the men’s, Becky, Sherene and Abbie in the women’s). It was a great Sunday morning overall! Well done to all who raced South Cave 10k and thank you @kuhac_roadrunners and @southcave_10k for having us, we’ll be back next year!

A WIN AND A COURSE RECORD

A fleeting visit back home to my local 10km to take the win and a course record !!

For me, it’s important to go back to where all this started every now and again and make sure I keep those early days of running close to my heart, and this was exactly that.

A windy and hilly course where you actually just race the race, and that’s what you need from time to time, now let’s get stuck into some marathon prep shall we!?!

Wearing @oneractive PACE CAPSULE
Launching Wednesday 29th 5pm
Code BECKYB - love this race fit. 🫶🏻

Big thanks to my coach @runperformancelab - Kris, you’re fab.

Dear running . . .

You take us further than we ever thought possible.
You humble us on the tough days, keeping us grounded.
You challenge us to break our own boundaries.
You bring us together, turning solo miles into a shared journey.

Running is so much more than a solo sport, it’s community.

A massive thank you to the @eyroadrunners 🐢 for the endless encouragement, ambition and every mile together.

Happy #GlobalRunningDay!

Hackney Half 2026 ! 🪩🍒💛

ahhh my fifth time running at Hackney Half and the atmosphere just gets better each year !!

my coach just said to me:

“Racing hard definitely requires a combination of ‘aggression and serenity’
Aggression when it gets tough.
Serenity in the mind beforehand and general life.”

Didn’t quite have either of those today but gave it a go regardless and I’ll always back myself on showing up, because no one else is going to do that for you hey.

A 1:16, 3rd on the podium and got to see lots of my favourite people doing what they love too which is such a blessing.

Re-set then we go again and see where 2026 takes us, because there’s no stopping just yet.

(Also very excited to actually go on holiday in a few weeks for a proper re-set, YAY).

Love you all xxxxxxx

Appreciation post for the people who helped me through the marathon training!
@tyastraining for programming strength training each week to keep me strong, and also having a great time listening to me moan
@xela.massageandrecovery for keeping my body moving through it all, even if she did have to do my feet
@runperformancelab for keeping me niggle free through it all, my injury could have been a lot worse and probably wouldn’t have finished the marathon without him!

There is still time to donate if you haven’t already, I appreciate the support from people who have donated, it doesn’t go unnoticed 🙂 link is in my bio

LONDON MARATHON 2026 - Chip time 3:41:04 💥

What an insane journey, from zero to marathon. Not the time I was hoping for but considering I couldn’t run 5km 10 months ago I know I have a lot more to give, and can’t take anything away from the incredible experience. The support from everyone has been incredible and I can’t wait to do it all over again!

I can’t thank my number one supporter @almoss92 enough for everything over the last few months of training right though to cheering me on around the course 🥰

I was running on behalf of @wcrfuk and so far have raised over £2000 for this brilliant charity, donation link still live and in my bio.

I want to say a massive thank you to everyone that got me on that start line, I couldn’t have done it without all of you help and support.

@dum.fitness @coreptfitness @thecoregym @runperformancelab @laperformance_ @almoss92 @traceywatson545 @pjbta1974

Thank you! ❤️
