lil september recap 🍂

So I did a thing and ran my first half marathon and the longest distance I’ve ever run. It was such a beautiful place to run through - Kew Gardens truly is an amazing place. Flat course, luscious green trees with the sun shining and a great atmosphere.

13.1 miles was hard. Was it the fastest? Nope, but it was way better than I expected. My initial goal was to finish before 3 hours and coach @samlloydperks said I could probably do 2:50 or 2:55 but I definitely didn’t think 2:42 was achievable.

All the hard work and effort put in the past few months have definitely paid off. Now looking forward to resting for the rest of the week and to walk normally again.
