A race to shine a light on our beautiful West Coast.

🌱 MORE THAN JUST MOVEMENT!

What does empowering children through movement look like?

It looks like building strong, capable bodies.
It looks like discovering new skills.
It looks like growing confidence with every little achievement.
And it looks like learning just how much our bodies can do!

A little throwback to our Kinderkinetics activation on the West Coast, where Fundamental Kinderkinetics joined hands with Run West and the NEST programme for a special day with the Grade 2 learners of Doringbaai Primary School!

Through fun, purposeful movement activities, we introduced the children to the world of Kinderkinetics — exploring balance, coordination, strength, body awareness, motor planning and so much more!

But our mission goes beyond movement!

We believe in educating, creating awareness and empowering children to understand how strong, healthy bodies can support learning, concentration, posture, participation in sport and confidence in everyday life.

This special activation gave the children a glimpse into the Kinderkinetics programme we hope to introduce as part of NEST in the near future, creating more opportunities for purposeful motor development on the West Coast.

We are so grateful to be part of this incredible initiative🌊🤸🏼‍♀️✨

Thank you for the incredible photos🤩 @barry_socks

#runwestsa has left their mark on the west coast. It's harsh, dry but if you look deeper its got soul. Not just the places but the people, somehow the dust, the sea gets under your skin. I have grown to love the spirit behind the movement. I love REAL people and everyone that ran came with Heart and energy. Till next year keep your feet moving and your heart beating🙌✌️🐾👣❤️💙🌊💚

Here were a bunch of souls that shone, through mud and rain and one crazy thunderstorm @runwestsa you sure make the west coast a better place. Empowering children through education of our environment is the best gift you can give the youth. They will become the warriors of protecting our oceans and coasts
