I’m Kelly and I run @littlebearwoods with help from @more_russ_less_labels here is some fire lighting using silver birch bark… it’s a great one to look for when you’re walking in the forest, but be aware to take only a small amount or from dead trees to not damage the tree 🌲

All Us Mountain Men 🗻🧡

What an incredible experience, conquered together with my brothers. This weekend we headed up to Snowdonia to camp, get soaked, bruised, share, swim and climb. The weather was.. tough! The wind, the rain, the hail didn’t stop us and the experience was unforgettable.

The journey was an extension of our circles. Likeminded men, supporting each other, embracing our emotions, laughing together, crying together, being human together.

It was an honour to share the weekend with these wonderful men. A journey I will never forget 🧡

This is the first of many adventures, and men - all of you is and are welcome.

I want to take a moment to show our love to the amazing Sarah @_nouriish._ for blessing us with the most incredible food to fuel us for the climb. Sarah’s food brought us together, for the most amazing meal and we are all so grateful! 🙏

Also - my brother @onionringo is the biggest legend for being the pilot, DJ, space holder and snack sharer during those loooooong drive!!

Really important post from my friends at @bestbeginningscharity, reminding us about how fathers can experience anxiety during their partner's pregnancy

Posted @withregram • @bestbeginningscharity Fathers experience anxiety at higher rates than average during their partner’s pregnancy and the first year of parenthood according to a 2021 study. Therefore, it's so important to focus on the wellbeing of not just the birthing parent.

There are a lot of new responsibilities that come with parenthood, and this can cause parents-to-be to feel anxious and worry.

Common sources of anxiety found in non-birthing parents may include:
👉fears for the baby’s health
👉concerns for the birthing parent
👉worries about the future of the adults’ relationship
👉nervousness about being a good enough parent

Whilst it's completely natural to have some worries about your birthing partner and baby and your ability to be a good parent, if you find you are suffering from anxiety regularly as an expectant parent, remember that you are not alone.

Talking about how you're feeling will help you manage it, so try talking to a therapist, joining a support group, or attending parent meetups. You can also find support in our @babybuddyapp. Download it by heading to our bio ⬆️

We have a backlog of so many questions so let’s kick start with the first one! Can anyone help a dad who is struggling to keep the little ones entertained? Maybe some home based activities and some that don’t cost a fortune? Thank you everyone #dadlife #kids #summerbreak #activities #children #dadblogger

Nice to have a running buddy today on my lunchtime run 🏃‍♀️
-
It’s always interesting to me to see how different terrains effect runners and the habits they get into from them:
Road runners typically bounce along and trail runners keep their strides shorter, with road runners typically running 20% faster than trail runners but I think we were pretty evenly matched.
-
What type of runner are you?
