2025 felt like the year of being exactly where I need to be to get where I wanna be 💫

In this never-ending battle to get a good life-work balance, I think I got a little closer this year. Got my first two paid writing jobs. My first performed reading of my pilot. Met some amazing yappers and new friends on my theatre programme. Got the day job down to 4 days so I can breathe. Saw my friends more casually and watched them reach milestones. Understood how Angela Basset felt in that one Waiting to Exhale gif. Started painting. Started learning how to wear my fro - which I really thought would be a bigger adjustment but turns out it’s the cute & low maintenance style I’ve always wanted and I’ve never felt more myself. And perhaps most importantly, I remembered what it’s like to be obsessed with a TV show (TSITP and the weekly release, you will always be famous).

2026 is for more casual hangs, family time, writing, kissing, side quests, peace, and fun 🤎
