I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to spend the last 3 months doing my MSAT Summer Immersion with @traininghaus and @twincitiesortho !

To say I learned a ton is an understatement. Every day brought new patient interactions and moments to learn and grow my clinician skillset. Not to mention working with patients of a variety of injury histories and stages of rehab. I am so grateful for each and every staff member being so welcoming to help me learn to be the clinician I aspire to be!

The collaboration that occurs at the Eagan Viking Lakes location is like nothing I’ve ever seen. There is a bright future ahead for sports rehabilitation patients under the care of Training HAUS and TCO staff, and I am so grateful I got to experience it!

As I enter my final year of schooling I am so excited to carry this summer’s experiences with me! I can’t thank anyone who I worked with this summer enough!

Had the amazing opportunity to help @tdwwheels13 present on “Sideline Return to Play Decisions: A Practical and Functional Testing Framework to Rule Athletes In/Out” with my AT student buddy @abbie.swanson21 at the Vikings Training Facility🏈

I am so grateful for opportunities like this one, they are worth the wait to become a better clinician! And lastly a huge thank you to @twincitiesortho for putting on an awesome Sports Medicine Sideline Mangement Conference!

What an incredible weekend teaching the USA Weightlifting Level 2 Course!

So much learning, so many great discussions, and plenty of laughs along the way. One of my favorite parts of teaching is getting to spend time with passionate coaches who are committed to growing and getting better for their athletes. These girls are truly some of my favorites, and I am so excited to watch where their coaching journeys take them in the years ahead.

A huge thank you to Quinn, Sami, and Jalen for volunteering their time to be athletes during our mock coaching sessions. Having athletes willing to jump in and help makes such a difference in the learning experience.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who showed up, participated, asked questions, shared ideas, and made the weekend so much fun. Coaching is one of the greatest ways we can impact others, and it is always inspiring to be surrounded by people who care so deeply about helping athletes succeed.

I'm grateful for every opportunity I get to teach, learn, and be part of this amazing weightlifting community. ❤️🏋️‍♀️

OUR GAM GAM @ry_kara is up next for senior sunday 👵🏻

Here are her future plans, favorite memory, and advice 👏🏼

After graduation, I will be continuing my Lindenwood Athletic Training Master’s Degree 3+2 program into the summer. I will be doing my grad-level summer immersion with Training HAUS and Twin Cities Orthopedics at the Minnesota Vikings training facility back home in my home state of MN! With that, I am so lucky to have the opportunity to come back to Lindenwood Weightlifting in the fall as I finish out my last two semesters of my Master’s Degree! Not everyone has the opportunity to compete in the sport they love in college, let alone while they finish a graduate level program, and I am very grateful! 🦁

There are way too many good memories to only pick one during my time with Lindenwood Weightlifting. But, if I had to choose one moment it would be our teammate, Jenna McClain’s, clutch 117kg clean and jerk in 2024 to win us the University National Coed Championship! I absolutely cried my eyes out in happiness as my teammates know I do and I found her dad and immediately hugged him. She was a big inspiration for me as a young athlete in the years moving forward after that and I will always thank her because she helped make me a national champion for the first time ❤️

Be a fighter. Hold yourself to a standard of success that will make those around you better, they will all appreciate your hard work and accountability down the road. Lastly, life is full of rough patches and I’ve had my fair share more than I’d like to remember. But if I’ve learned one thing it’s that the hard times never last and more often than not that fighter mentality pulls you out of the rough feeling proud to have done it with the people you have around you. The best fighters don’t fight alone but rather with a support circle that they respect and recognize with great love. This is something I try to live by and I hope everyone reading this found something valuable to carry with you in your own life! 🥹

Rylee is an incredible role model, teammate, and captain. We are so lucky to have her around for a few more years! 💪💛
