Wrestling is better when we train together.

Training with athletes from different clubs gives our wrestlers the opportunity to work with new partners, experience different styles, compete against different looks, and learn from coaches and athletes outside their usual room.

It pushes athletes outside their comfort zone, builds confidence, and helps everyone grow.

More partners. More styles. More opportunities to get better.

Building better athletes and a stronger wrestling community — together.

The wrestling community is bigger than borders. 🇨🇦🤝🇺🇸 I had the opportunity to speak with the coaches @palani57_ @ryan.hicks17 from @takedown_academy coming from Canada during the @iridiumsportsagency Wrestling Camp @buchananboyswrestling @buchanan_girls_wrestling. What started with a single connection between @palani57_ and @israel_silva turned into an opportunity to travel across countries, build relationships, and give back to the next generation. That’s the power of networking and investing in people. I asked them what stood out about the wrestlers here in California’s Central Valley. Their answer was simple: the toughness and grit. They were impressed by the work ethic and determination they saw on the mat. Their message to every young wrestler was just as powerful: Have fun. Try your best. Make wrestling a game. Buy into the process, and enjoy the journey. Success comes when you love what you’re doing and commit to getting a little better every day. They also shared how surreal this experience has been. Just three months ago, they were watching many of these athletes compete at a national tournament. Today, they’re standing alongside them as clinicians, teaching at one of the premier camps in the country. It’s a reminder that wrestling creates lifelong relationships and opportunities you never know are coming. Dream big. Stay humble. Keep working. You never know where this sport will take you. #podcast #wrestling #canada🇨🇦 #camp #relationships
