The NCBA is excited to announce that Ryan Lancaster has been named Director of Division II Baseball Operations.

Ryan is a former NCBA player who was hired full time here earlier this Spring. He immediately became a huge asset to our Front Office as we look forward to seeing him take on this next challenge.

Congratulations Ryan!

To kick off our Senior Week Graduation Countdown, we are starting with someone who has made such an incredible impact on the culture and environment that surrounds IU Club Baseball, Ryan Lancaster. Ryan transferred to Indiana after his freshman year playing D3 baseball in California. He started playing IU Club Baseball his sophomore year and he excelled.

We asked Ryan what IU Club Baseball meant to him and this was his response; “Club baseball meant a lot to me. Through club baseball, I made friendships and created memories that will last forever. It allowed me to continue playing the game I cherish while having fun playing. It opened many doors for me and gave me chance to play baseball one last time. The best decision I could’ve made here at IU was to join club baseball, and I’m glad I did!”

We also asked Ryan what his favorite Club Baseball memory was and he said; “It’s hard to narrow down everything to just one. So many great trips, great series. But one that stands out to me the most was Panama City Beach trip sophomore year. On the field, we played short-handed and won 4/5 games. Off the field, we enjoyed the nice beach weather and did everything together that year. So as a mix of both on and off the field, that one tops them all.”

Ryan finished his last season with IU Club Baseball on the Executive Board as the Event Coordinator and set the tone for what it meant to bring our team and our community together. We thank you for everything you have done, the people you have impacted, and the energy and excitement you brought to every trip and activity. You will be unbelievably missed. Good luck with everything that your future brings and have fun in Pittsburgh!!!! Congratulations @ryan_lancaster15
