sourdough pizza night & good company! 🍕🌱 🍅 Recipe (7-8 personal pizzas)👩🏽‍🍳: 1000g (bread or AP) flour 600g warm filtered water 250g starter 24g salt Mix ingredients (water & starter first, then include flour & salt) until shaggy dough forms. Cover and let rest for 1 hour. Then do 1 round of stretch & folds. Let the dough then rest for a minimum of 3-4 hours on the counter or in a warm environment (in the oven with the light on is my fav!). Once dough has doubled in size, divide into dough into 7-8 parts. Shape each piece into a round ball. Let them rest for 20 minutes then work the dough into the pizza shape (Tips: Semolina flour is SUPER helpful on your surface when stretching the dough, and a rolling pin will help get an even layer of dough without tearing it). Add your toppings and bake! We used a pizza oven but in a regular oven, 450 degrees for 10-12 minutes should do. Our toppings 🫑🧀🧅: - Mozzarella - Parmesan - Marinara - Pesto - Hot Italian sausage - Pepperoni - Bell pepper - Basil - Red onion - Marinated artichokes - Kalamata olives - Mushrooms - Banana peppers - Hot honey Bon appétit! 🤌🏼

An ode to Q1: “Some seasons grow flowers, some grow roots. Both are progress” 🌷 The start of this year hit different. Partially in a literal sense (like a Nissan Rogue😅), but also by forcing me to slow down. Needing to rest physically meant getting very honest with myself about what matters - and what I need to be my best every day. Time with people I love, r&r (especially moving my body and as MUCH sleep as time allows), time in the sun, girly girl nights, a creative outlet, a cat on my lap as often as possible, great food, a little adventure, work that’s truly aligned…these things matter more than over-achieving at 180% ever will. (It only took 9 years of entrepreneurship to figure that out 😉) I have a feeling the pace of life is about to speed waaay up in Q2 (details coming soon…👀🤞). But after these last three months, I truly feel more centered than I have in a long time. So without further adieu…let’s get into it 🫶 (The tik tok girlies get it 😘)

🍀🍀Lucky? You betcha! I count my blessings every…single…day. For me, feeling lucky is living in a state of gratitude for the things in life that bring me great joy: • Having my good health. • Having loving, supportive family & friends to do life with. • Doing work that stokes my creativity & fills my soul. • Living in a place surrounded by beauty & peace. • Having adventures I will remember for a lifetime. So yes….I am very, very lucky. And here’s the thing. Luck is not purely happenstance. It is a choice. I have co-created my good luck by listening to my intuition, taking chances that stretch my comfort zone, and surrounding myself with people who support me in living my best life. My good fortune has come from doing hard things. Making hard choices. And finding my True North when life threw me some big curve balls. It hasn’t always been smooth or easy, but it has always been worthwhile….because I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without the totality of ALL those experiences; the highest of highs, and the lowest of lows. So here’s to the Luck we make for ourselves, because we are all deserving of goodness, love, and joy—-just as we are. 🍀🍀🍀
