🤼🔥 It All Starts With Hand Fighting!

🤼‍♂️You can have the best shots in the world, but if you can’t hand fight, they’re not going to do you much good🧪🧪

Ask any college coach and they will tell you the main difference between high school and college is hand fighting🎯

Don’t just wait for an opening. Learn how to create one. 💪

🧪 Another great day in the Lab!

Nothing beats getting better with your sibling 🤼😂

🧪Great private earlier this week with this brother-sister duo getting on the mat, learning together, and pushing each other through plenty of reps💯💯

🔥It’s always cool watching two wrestlers help each other improve🤼‍♂️

Learn together. Compete together. Get better together. 💪🔥

11 years went by way too fast. Watching these memories, I wish I could hold that little baby one more time. But watching the boy you’re becoming makes me so proud.
You’re a hammer on the mat, son. Your heart, your determination, and how hard you work mean more to me than you’ll ever know.
Keep chasing your dreams and being yourself. Wherever life takes you, Dad will always be in your corner.
Happy 11th birthday, Ryan. I love you, son. ❤️🐉

Sometimes progress is happening before you can see it. 🤼

It’s really about being there and giving it 100% even when you don’t want to be there 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Then one day, the things you struggled with start becoming the things you do naturally.

Trust the work you’re putting in now. Your time will come. 💪

🤼 Bad shots happen. What you do next matters.

Earlier this week in one of our private sessions, we worked on how to recover when a shot doesn’t go exactly as planned💪

Grab the elbow, clear the hand and circle out!!!

You can reattack off this as well 🔥🔥🔥
The first attack doesn’t have to be perfect—just know how to recover. 💪

🤼 Outside Shelf Finish From the Crackdown

💪 Sometimes getting to the leg is easy but finishing can be hard. In this video we learned how to finish from a crackdown position by doing an outside shelf finish. 🤝🔥

This technique is very effective because you’re putting your opponent in an uncomfortable position so they bail 🤼

🤼 Sometimes you just have to let it fly!

💪 There are going to be times where you’re down and you have to go BIG. Therefore, you need to have a throw in your back pocket just in case.

Whether it’s a Headlock, Trapped Arm Throw, or Arm Spin. You need to have something 💥🤼

🔥 Keep learning. Keep experimenting. Keep adding weapons to your game.

🤼 Technique Breakdown: Finishing From a Stuck High C

🤼🔥Here’s one of my favorite ways to finish when you’re stuck on a High C. Sometimes a traditional build up isn’t the way to go and you have to get Crafty!!!

Great wrestlers have an answer for every reaction 💪
💬 What technique should I break down next?

🤼 Great work in the Lab today and getting these young men ready for competition this weekend.

🔥 Today was about perfecting our technique and making sure everything is smooth. These guys showed up ready to work, pushed each other throughout the session, and got better because of it. That’s what it’s all about.
