Just ONE WEEK until I’m back onboard Legend of the Seas!🚢🥳

After my recent cruise end of June, I can’t wait to spend more time exploring the neighborhood „Chill Island“, especially the Swim & Tonic pool with its swim-up bar.

With 9 Days at Sea ahead, I’m hoping for plenty of sunny pool days, when crossing the Atlantic Ocean from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale!🚢☀️🌊

In October, I set sail from Southampton on Independence of the Seas. Soon after leaving the port, the sun began to set, a great start to the 7 Night Northern Spain cruise with Royal Caribbean.

Voyager of the Seas docked in Gqeberha🇿🇦

On November 16, Voyager of the Seas made her first-ever call to this South African port.

We were onboard for the 17-Nights Repositioning Cruise from Cape Town across the Indian Ocean to Singapore.

You may know Gqeberha by its former name, Port Elizabeth. Renamed Gqeberha in 2021, it is located in South Africa’s Eastern Cape Province, overlooking Algoa Bay on the Indian Ocean. It is also considered one of the gateways to the famous Garden Route. The area is an excellent destination if you’re hoping to experience an authentic African safari during your cruise.

For me, Gqeberha was a fantastic introduction to South Africa’s Eastern Cape and a destination I’d happily return to. Have you ever visited South Africa?🤔

My beloved Harmony of the Seas docked in Barcelona! ❤️

I was onboard her first sailing after dry dock (May 21-24, 2026) and she looked absolutely incredible.🤩

She stole my heart during the pandemic in 2021 and reminded me once again on this short 3-Night sailing, why she’ll always have a special place in it.🚢🫶

In total, I spent 66 nights onboard, visited 19 countries and added 5 new ones plus a new continent to my personal list. Sailing across four continents - North America, Europe, Africa and Asia - wasn’t just about destinations. Being at sea is still where I feel most like myself: open horizons, new ports of call, new cultures and the people who make these voyages special.🚢💙

Some moments will stay with me forever: Celebrating my 40th birthday on the largest cruise ship in the world, walking on the Great Wall of China, sounding the ship’s horn on Ovation of the Seas… and of course, watching my very good friend @steffi15_09 fall in love with cruising on her first-ever ocean cruise (after 13 years of convincing). She liked it so much that we immediately booked two more cruises together.☺️

Mercedes-Benz 540K on the Royal Promenade 🚘

Did you know that every ship in Royal Caribbean’s Voyager, Freedom, and Oasis Class features its own classic car?
It all began back in 1999 with the launch of Voyager of the Seas and the tradition lives on!

On Allure of the Seas, you’ll find this vintage Mercedes-Benz 540K parked right in front of the Rising Tide Bar, next to Café Promenade.
It’s one of the many cool details you can discover while strolling the Royal Promenade, the ship’s lively “main street” on Deck 5.
