Seven days. One seriously wild ride across the Great Karoo. 🔥
The Nedbank Gravel Burn 2026 brings the world’s gravel-loving pros and passionate amateurs together for a week of gravel racing at its best.
We’ve picked our “FAVOURITES” (and see if you can spot the Dark Horse).
Who should we keep our eyes on this year?

Back on the gravel bike and searching for anything off road with @ryangibbons23 & @teamroadcoverdms

Are you racing @ride_joburg in a single-speed or fixie bike?

If so, get in touch with @_bikevibe - we would love to tell your story.

Last year, as we arrived at @kyalamigrandprixcircuit , I did spot one rider who was doing Ride Joburg in a fixie.

If you are that guy or rider who is going to take on the hills and steep descents of @cityofjoburg on a fixie on race day, please get in touch with us.

@shaakir_the_cyclist - any suggestions?

RYAN GIBBONS: THE FIRE STILL BURNS!

He has raced on some of the world’s biggest stages, lining up alongside and competing against some of the best riders in the sport.

@ryangibbons23 may have retired from the WorldTour, but the competitive fire in his heart, core, and legs is far from extinguished!

Now riding for @teamroadcoverdms , Gibbons has made no secret of his ambition to win @ride_joburg on 22 November 2026.

Bikevibe caught up with the South African rider to talk about his Ride Joburg ambitions, his recent international cycling adventures, and reconnecting with former teammates and friends in Spain and Slovenia, including taking on the Pogi Challenge.

Can Ryan conquer Ride Joburg?
