Join us tonight 6-8pm for the opening reception of “If Only the Light Could Stay” a two-person exhibition featuring Song Watkins Park and Ryan Oskin, winners of our 2026 open call.

Song Watkins Park is a figurative painter whose work examines narrative, identity, and the human psyche. Using herself as both subject and conduit, she constructs intimate, psychologically charged scenes that reclaim the female body as a site of strength, vulnerability, and reflection. Drawing from childhood memories and literature rooted in her upbringing in Korea, her paintings weave together cultural specificity with broader, shared human experiences. Watkins Park holds an MFA from Washington University in St. Louis and is currently an adjunct professor in the Department of Art at Saint Louis University.

Ryan Oskin explores the physical and psychological space between architectural renderings and their realization through photography, sculpture, and installation. He has had solo exhibitions at the NARS Foundation, Rubber Factory, and the Java Project in New York City. In addition, his work has been shown throughout the United States at Aperture Foundation, LVL3, Press Street, Newspace Center for Photography, and underneath the 6th Street Viaduct in Los Angeles. He graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Photography in 2012. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn, N.Y.

😱 thank you thank you thank you to everyone who came out to the opening on saturday 🤍🤍🤍

@delarge_ wrote a really nice note about how the collaboration came about…check it out on his grid 📱

the spirit of collaboration and its relationship to time and labor was paramount to this project in my opinion…it is what helped my ‘flowers’ mutate and evolve into freestanding, solitary trees…each with it’s own personality (and title thanks to Nathaniel!) 🤍🌴🤍

i am very grateful for Nathaniel’s partnership, ingenuity and friendship in this. He is truly a top creative mind making work today. 🤍

The collaborations didn’t stop there though! we are both indebted to @matt_table_ and @gotranggo for their work and contribution to the project—from press releases and pdfs to humid installs, emergency repairs and toggle bolt disasters, Matt and Trang were with us every step of the way. THANK YOU Matt and Trang and @international___waters 🤍💙🤍 You two have an exceptionally meaningful project and beautiful community at International Waters! 🤍

Finally, thank you Mark none of this would be possible without you and the @newtownradio community. Your passion for arts and culture provides the context for these exceptional, singular experiences. 🙏🏼🤍🙏🏼
